Hi John,
It was fun to decorate your room last month. I share a room with my brother. We want to decorate it too. Can you help us
Right now, the walls are blue. There are cute animals on them, but the animals look too young for us. We want to cover the animals and paint the walls light green. What do you think about the colour
On Sunday, we can meet at the paint shop near the shopping centre and choose the paint together. Then we can paint the room with my brother. I loved the brushes we used for your room. Can you bring them
After painting, could you help choose some photos to hang on the walls
Let me know what you think.

Zhang Peng

Come on!
Dear Mary,
Last month, I saw a very beautifully-decorated room, and I'm eager to decorate my own room. Could you lend me a hand
I plan to make my room more lively. First, I want to buy some flowers to fill the room with sweet smells. Would you go shopping with me this Saturday Also, I want to make some paper-cuttings and a poster. It would be great if you can bring a pair of scissors and a brush! If you have an extra painting, bringing it would be wonderful too.
Let me know your thoughts.
Best wishes,
Linda.
For example-1
Dear Peter,
Hey! Remember how much fun we had last time we worked on that small DIY project Well, I'm thinking of giving my room a whole new look, and I really hope you can help me out.
I've got a bunch of ideas. I want to start by buying some fresh flowers from the flower market to add a touch of nature. Also, making some cool paper-cuttings and a unique poster sounds amazing. I'm a bit short on tools, so could you bring a pair of sharp scissors and a good brush
Moreover, I'm planning to go shopping for some decorative items this Sunday. It would be great if you could come along. If you have a nice painting that you think would fit my room's vibe, bringing it would be the cherry on top.
I can't wait to transform my room with your help. Let me know if you're in!
Best wishes,
Tom

Language Points!
1. There are cute animals on them, but the animals look too young for us.
too ... to... 。
例如:The box is too heavy for me to carry alone.
The math problem was too tricky to solve without a calculator.

3. I loved the brushes we used for your room.
we used for your room 是省略了关系代词 that/which 的定语从句,修饰先行词 the brushes 。完整形式为 the brushes that/which we used for your room ,关系代词在从句中作 used 的宾语,所以可以省略。
(1)常见的引导词:that, which, who, whom, whose, where, when, why等。
(2)关系代词(在从句中作主语、宾语或定语):that, which, who, whom, whose

The car that he bought is very expensive.(作宾语,可省略)
The boy whose father is a doctor is my classmate.(作定语)

This is the house where I lived ten years ago.(= in which)
Do you know the reason why he left (= for which)

I surveyed 30 classmates about their chore habits. Here are the results. For question 1, most students do daily chores like cleaning their rooms (60%) and taking out the trash (40%). Some help with cooking (25%) or washing dishes (35%). A few (10%) only do heavy chores like mopping floors on weekends. On question 2, 50% do chores every day, 30% several times a week, and 20% once or twice a week. Those who help cook usually do it 3–4 times a week. Answering question 3, 70% think chores teach responsibility and life skills. However, 20% find them tiring, and 10% wish they could spend more time on hobbies. Overall, most classmates agree chores are important, though some hope to balance them with other activities better. Find out who does the most chores at home.
