Born to be Free
The Home of Whales Orca whales（虎鲸）live in the sea. This is their home. In the sea, they can swim where they want to. There is no fence（栅栏）to keep them in one place. The orcas are free. When Bambi woke up and saw snow on the forest floor, he felt sad. It was still winter!
His mum had found a nice place for the winter, but it was difficult for him to meet his friends. It always took him a long time to walk through the woods. The worst thing was the frozen lake.
But on that cold morning, Bambi wanted to fight with his fear. He stood bravely in front of the ice-covered lake. He could see his friends, the squirrel and the rabbit, playing on the opposite side!

Bob Bear was the richest animal in the forest but he was very mean. He never shared. When his poorer neighbours came to his house and asked for food, he shouted. “Go away! It’s MY food!”

The shopkeeper gave him two black bananas and a small packet of cookies. “Good! These are cheap.” Bob smiled. “They only cost eleven dollars thirty.”
At the party Bob opened his presents——a bag of apples, five cans of orange juice. “These are not birthday presents!” he shouted angrily.
