道歉信通常是在因自己的过失或疏忽给别人带来了麻烦或损失并发觉的情况下，为了向对方表示歉意而写的信件。具体写作结构如下：

1．开头句
(1)I am writing to apologize/say sorry for...
我写这封信是为……向你致歉。
(2)I am really sorry but I have no choice but to...我真的很抱歉，但我别无选择，只能……
(3)I am indeed very sorry for what I said/did，but please believe I had no intention to...
对于我说的话/做的事，我确实感到很抱歉。但请相信，我并非故意要……
(4)I apologize sincerely for what I said that day.I didn’t mean to hurt you.
