Tell the reader you understand he/she feels. Tell the reader what you think he/she should do. Explain your reasons. Tell the reader what you think will happen.

建议信写作总结
建议信
建议信是写信人向收信人对某事提出的建议和忠告。
建议信有可能是写给某个人，就其遇到的某个问题提出自己的看法和观点；也可能是写给某个组织和机构，就改进其服务提出建议或忠告。
信的内容要包括写信的原因、建议的内容和提出建议的理由。
提出的理由要入情入理，语气一定要礼貌当先。建议信要写得简明扼要、目的明确、具有合理性和说服力。这类文章的基本时态多用一般现在时和一般将来时。
具体写作步骤一般是“三段式”，通常以firstly, secondly, thirdly或to begin/start with, then, later, last but not least等依次陈述建议，具体为：
首段：表明写作意图。陈述事由，简单介绍自己，注意语气。
主体段落：应该首先肯定对方的优点，然后指出需要改进的地方或针对具体情况提出具体的建议或忠告。注意千万不要让对方认为是投诉，而不是建议。
结尾段：对提出的建议进行总结。注意要有礼貌，使对方容易接受。
建议信常用句式：
1．段首常用语(照应材料，表明写作意图)：
①I am writing to express my views concerning...
②After I read your letter in the newspaper, I am sorry to know that...
③You have asked for my advice about...and I will try to make some suggestions.
④I am very glad to hear that you want to...
2．表达建议常用语：
①I think the most suitable...for you is...
②I would like to suggest that...
③You'd better.../It's better to...
④As far as I am concerned.../In my opinion/...
⑤For one thing...; for another...
⑥If I were you, I would...
⑦It seems to me that you could...
⑧I think it would be more beneficial if you could...
3．段尾常用语：
①In the end, I will be glad if you find my suggestions useful.
②I believe you will take my advice into account/consideration.
③I hope you will find these proposals/suggestions practical/useful/helpful.
④I will be more than happy to see improvements in this regard.

Dear Xu Ting，
You are worried that you feel lonely because you don't stay with your parents who are working in another city. I understand exactly how you feel because I had the same experience.
To be honest, I recommend that you should join in after-school activities because there are a lot of students like you. Of course, you can focus on discussing anything with them or even playing some games. If you still feel lonely, personally you ought to arrange some study tasks for yourself and concentrate on it. I'm sure you will be attracted to your study here. You should be responsible for yourself.
