In today’s digital age, artificial intelligence (AI) has become a popular tool in our daily lives, including
education. Many students, especially those in junior high school, are turning to AI tools to help with their
homework. While these tools can offer convenience, they also come with their own set of advantages and
disadvantages.
AI does bring some advantages for students. First, AI saves time. Students can quickly find answers to
difficult math problems or grammar questions. Second, AI provides learning resources. For example, some tools
explain solutions step by step, helping students understand topics better. Third, AI supports personalized learning.
Struggling (挣扎) students can practice repeatedly with AI feedback (反馈), while advanced learners can explore
harder tasks.
However, there are also some disadvantages. Depending too much on AI can make students lazy and may
stop them trying to solve problems independently. It’s not helpful to improve their thinking skills. This can hurt
their learning in the long run. Another problem is that AI tools sometimes give wrong answers, especially for
open-ended questions like essays. Lastly, using AI can lead to cheating. Copying AI-generated work without
learning breaks trust between students and teachers.
AI can be a helpful study tool if used wisely. Students should treat it as a guide, not a replacement for their
own efforts. Balancing AI assistance with active learning is key to success.
26.What is one advantage of using AI for homework
A.It makes students lazy.B.It saves time. C.It is always exact. D.It replaces teachers.
27.What does the underlined word “personalized” in Paragraph 2 mean

B.They might struggle with traditional methods of studying.
C.They might reduce their own critical thinking abilities.
D.They might become more confident.
29.Why should students use AI wisely
A.To avoid understanding concepts. B.To finish homework without thinking.
C.To enjoy its benefits and avoid shortcomings. D.To make AI replace their teachers.
30.What is the best title for this passage
A.The Dangers of AI in Education B.How AI Replaces Teachers
C.Why Students Should Never Use AI D.The Pros and Cons of Using AI for Homework
【答案】26.B 27.B 28.C 29.C 30.D

advanced learners can explore harder tasks.”可知,学习困难的学生可以通过 AI 反馈反复练习,而高水平学生
可以探索更难的任务,所以人工智能支持个性化学习,划线部分的含义是“适合每个学生的”。故选 B。
28.细节理解题。根据“Depending too much on AI can make students lazy and may stop them trying to solve
problems independently. It’s not helpful to improve their thinking skills.”可知,过度依赖 AI 会削弱学生的批判
性思维能力。故选 C。

Pingshu, a traditional Chinese storytelling art, has a history dating back to the Qing Dynasty. Performers
试卷第 7 页,共 22 页
usually tell stories in teahouses or small theaters, attracting audiences with their vivid voices and gestures.
To master Pingshu, artists need years of training. Most learn by studying under experienced performers. As
one famous artist, Yuan Kuocheng, said, Pingshu is “both mental and physical work.” Performers must memorize
long stories and add their own explanations to make the tales more attractive. They also need to understand the
deeper meanings of the stories and share their thoughts with the audience.
During performances, artists stand behind a table. They use tools like a folding fan and a wooden block
called Xingmu (醒木). The fan helps act out scenes, such as “drawing a sword (剑).” The Xingmu is knocked on
the table to mark the start of the story or to highlight exciting moments.
Modern technology has brought both challenges and opportunities to Pingshu. While young people today
prefer online entertainment, technology allows artists to record their performances. These recordings can be
shared widely, helping more people discover Pingshu. Digital methods also protect this art for future generations.
More often than not, those who listen to Pingshu stories belong to older generations. While most young
people spend hours online, a small number still find value in Pingshu, drawn by its cultural richness and
storytelling traditions.
In summary, Pingshu is not just entertainment—it carries Chinese culture and wisdom. Through stories,
performers connect the past with the present, offering audiences both fun and life lessons.
31.What can we infer from the second paragraph
A.Learning Pingshu requires both time and guidance from experts.
B.Memorizing stories is less important than physical gestures.
C.Pingshu artists can master the skill within a few months.
D.Performers rarely share their personal views during shows.
32.What tool is NOT needed during a Pingshu performance
A.A folding fan to act out scenes.
B.A wooden block to mark key moments.
C.A table to stand behind while performing.
D.A microphone to make their voices louder.
33.What is modern technology’s influence on Pingshu
A.It allows artists to perform without live audiences.
B.It reduces the need for performers to memorize stories.
C.It spreads pingshu to more people and protects its future.
试卷第 8 页,共 22 页
D.It forces performers to use digital tools during shows.
34.Which group is most likely to attend Pingshu performances
A.Teenagers who prefer short online videos.
B.Adults who enjoy traditional Chinese culture.
C.Foreign tourists visiting modern theaters.
D.Children learning to play musical instruments.
35.What is the main purpose of the article
A.To explain the tools and methods used in Pingshu performances.

Many cultures have stories of talking trees that give advice as well as warnings to people. Alexander the
Great and Marco Polo were said to have visited such a tree in India. And in some modern stories, such as the film
试卷第 9 页,共 22 页
Avatar, trees can communicate with animals and people. With our long believing that talking plants are unreal,
new research has found something amazing: It turns out that plants can really communicate.
It has been known that plants use chemicals (化学物) to communicate with each other: This happens when
a plant, say a bean plant, gets attacked (袭击) by insects. The plant gives off chemicals from the leaves that are
being eaten. This is like a warning, or a call for help, “I’m being attacked!” When another bean plant feels the
chemicals from its poor neighbor, it starts to give off its own, different chemicals. Some of these chemicals drive
insects away. Others attract (吸引) insects—the wasps (黄蜂)! The wasps kill the insects that are eating the bean
plant. Scientists hope to learn more about this plant warning system, so that we can use it to grow crops in a more
scientific way.
More surprisingly, plants also use sounds to communicate. People can’t hear these sounds, but plants are
making them. Some plants make noises with their roots. Corn and chili plants do this. They also “listen” to the
noises from other plants. A chili plant can tell if a neighboring plant is helpful, or unfriendly. Some trees make
clicking noises when there is not enough water.
Most surprisingly of all, plants have an amazing system of communication that can link nearly every plant
in a forest. Scientists call this system “wood wide web”. It is in some ways like the Internet we use. This wood
wide web is linked underground by fungi (真菌). Using this wood wide web, ★ . However, it may lead to bad
effects. Just like our Internet, this wood wide web has its own version of “cybercrime” (网络犯罪). Plants can
steal food from each other, or spread something harmful to attack other plants.
Scientists are learning more every day about the secret ways in which plants talk to each other. Who
knows …
36.Why does the writer mention “bean plant” and “wasps” in paragraph 2
A.To explain how plants develop new chemicals.
B.To prove all plants can attract wasps.
C.To give a specific example of chemical communication.
D.To compare beans with other crops.
37.According to the passage, plants communicate with_______ .
A.smells, chemicals and sounds
B.chemicals, sounds and wood wide web
C.feelings, chemicals and fungi
D.chemicals, sounds and fungi
试卷第 10 页,共 22 页

In today’s digital age, artificial intelligence (AI) has become a popular tool in our daily lives, including
education. Many students, especially those in junior high school, are turning to AI tools to help with their
homework. While these tools can offer convenience, they also come with their own set of advantages and
试卷第 4 页,共 14 页
disadvantages.

28.What is the result of students becoming overly dependent on AI
A.They might develop better problem-solving skills.

Pingshu, a traditional Chinese storytelling art, has a history dating back to the Qing Dynasty. Performers
usually tell stories in teahouses or small theaters, attracting audiences with their vivid voices and gestures.
试卷第 6 页,共 14 页
C.It spreads pingshu to more people and protects its future.
B.To argue that modern technology is harmful to traditional arts.
C.To compare the techniques of Pingshu with other storytelling forms.
D.To provide an overview of Pingshu’s history, practice and cultural importance.

Many cultures have stories of talking trees that give advice as well as warnings to people. Alexander the
Great and Marco Polo were said to have visited such a tree in India. And in some modern stories, such as the film

Who
knows …
