Hello, my name is Lily and I am from Suzhou. I have a small family with only three members: my dad, my mom and me. My dad is a doctor and he works in a hospital. An Unforgettable Hiking Adventure
Last summer, my family and I hiked in Green Valley Forest. I was excited and nervous as it was my first forest hike.
Early morning, we packed food and water. My dad led, and Mom reminded us to be careful. Entering the forest, we felt cool air and smelled damp earth. Tall trees made a green tunnel.
After an hour, we found a stream. The water was clear, showing colorful stones. My brother Tim splashed in it and shouted, “A little frog!” We watched the frog jump like an acrobat.
The path got steeper, and I felt tired. When I wanted to quit, Dad said the view at the top was amazing. His words encouraged me to keep going.
At the top, we saw green mountains and clouds close enough to touch. We ate sandwiches and enjoyed the view. On our way back, we collected leaves and stones. Though exhausted, I felt proud. This trip taught me determination and family support help overcome difficulties.
