第1-2课时starting out & understanding ideas
一、语篇分析
本课语篇描述了作者前往四川旅行的经历。在旅途中，作者品尝了正宗的四川火锅，并参观了著名的三星堆博物馆，以自己的亲身经历体现了When in China, do as the Chinese do.的意义。
通过阅读作者在四川旅行的经历，我们能感受到旅行的乐趣；同时理解了旅行能给人们带来新奇的体验，帮助人们开阔眼界，使人们了解不同国家和地区的文化。
作者用arrive in, can't wait to.., hot pot, make one's mouth burn, food, hot, expect, take a deep breath, iced lemon tea, reply, take a small mouthful, surprisingly, museum, mask, fantastic, normal, ancient, be full of fun, exciting, look forward to等核心词汇，按照事情发展的顺序组织语言，为我们呈现出旅行过程中各种新奇的体验。在描述故事的过程中，作者用到了许多比较级和平级的比较，这是我们本课学习的重点语法知识。

look forward to 意为“期待；盼望”，其中“to”是介词，后接名词、代词或动名词。 He looked forward to seeing his favorite band last night. 昨晚他期待着看到自己最喜欢的乐队。 The students are looking forward to the school art festival. 学生们期待着学校的艺术节。
prefer…to… 意为 “比起…… 更喜欢……”，其中 “to” 为介词，后接名词或动名词形式。 I prefer reading books to watching TV in my free time. 在空闲时间，比起看电视，我更喜欢看书。 She prefers coffee to tea. 比起茶，她更喜欢咖啡。
in general 意为“通常；一般情况下；普遍地，总的来说”，常用于句首或句中。 In general, people like to spend time with their families during holidays. 一般情况下，人们喜欢在假期和家人共度时光。 In general, plants need sunlight, water, and air to grow. 总的来说，植物生长需要阳光、水和空气。
places of interest 意为“名胜古迹；旅游景点”。 There are many places of interest in Beijing. 北京有许多名胜古迹。 The Great Wall is one of the most famous places of interest in the world. 长城是世界上最著名的名胜古迹之一。
句子解析

3.语法梳理
平级的比较
本单元中，我们学习形容词同级比较的句式表达。这种句式最明显的标志是as... as...，表示“和……一样……”，它的否定形式为not as/so... as..表示“不像……那样……”。
例句：
Some day she will become as successful as her role model.
总有一天她会变得像她的榜样那样成功。
I was as happy as you yesterday.
昨天我和你一样高兴。
My sister is not as careful as my brother.
我妹妹不像我哥哥那样细心。
It isn't so cold as yesterday.今天没有昨天那么冷。
从以上例句中可以看出，当使用as...as...或者它的否定形式进行平级比较时，两个as之间的形容词需要使用原级形式。

第3-5课时Developing ideas
一、语篇分析
本课语篇是一篇人物特写，介绍了中国历史上一位伟大的旅行家徐霞客。徐霞客凭借着非凡的勇气与坚定的信念，不畏路途艰险，孤身踏上漫长的旅程。在游历过程中，他精准地记录下地貌特征，并把他的旅行经历写成游记，为后世留下了极具价值的地理著作《徐霞客游记》。

My exciting journey
I have always dreamt of exploring the unexplored and seeing the fantastic views of seas and mountains. Last summer, I finally decided to set out on my exciting journey.
