On March 5th, Lei Feng Day, I volunteered at a nursing home. It was a wonderful experience.
We arrived there at 9:00 a.m. At first, we cleaned the windows and swept the floor, and then we visited some elders there. We chatted and played cards with them. Mrs. Li, an old lady, was an English teacher. We told her about our school life. She was very happy to be with us.

On Sunday morning, I volunteered at our community library with my neighbors. It was a great experience.
At first, the workers showed us around the library. My friend Xiaolin and I cleaned the bookshelves. Next, we cleaned the windows with others. 1. 明确主题:首先确定你想要表达的主题,这可以是某种情感、道理或者是对某一事件的看法。所要讲述的事件要与主题相关,此外这个事件要有代表性,能够突出你想要表达的主题。
2. 明确时间、地点、人物:清晰地描述此事件发生的时间、地点和涉及的人物,让读者能够更好地了解事件的背景。

3. 叙述事件经过:按事件的先后顺序详略得当地描写事情的经过。描述的内容包括事情的开端、发展、高潮、转折等部分。在叙述事件的过程中,适当地表达你的情感或者你想要传达的道理。
4. 结尾点题:在文章的结尾部分,再次强调你想要表达的主题,可以是自己的真情实感,也可以是自己经历这次事件的感悟。
