考点1 动词不定式（短语）在句中作目的状语，表示行为动作的目的。不定式既可放在句首，也可放在句尾。
动词不定式作目的状语
· He went to the supermarket to buy a pen.
他去超市买了一支钢笔。
· To get to school on time, he left home without breakfast.
为了准时到校，他没有吃早饭就离开家了。
考点2 动词不定式作目的状语，除了直接使用to do sth. 外，还可用in order to do sth. 和so as to do sth. 来表示，其否定形式为in order not to do sth.；so as not to do sth.。
· He closed the window in order to stay warm. 他关上窗户取暖。
· In order not to miss the early bus, he got up early in the morning. 为了不错过早班车，他一大早就起床了。
·They came in quietly so as not to wake up the children.
他们悄悄地进来，以免吵醒孩子们。
考点3 to/in order to/so as to 之间的转换
· He got up early to catch the early bus.=He got up early in order to catch the early bus. =He got up early so as to catch the early bus.=To catch the early bus, he got up early. =In order to catch the early bus, he got up early. 他为了赶上早班车早早起床。
