①We all love our phones, but using them too much can cause problems. Did you know most people check their phones over 50 times a day Many teens feel nervous when they don’t have their phones nearby. Even worse, phones sometimes make us miss what’s happening right around us. Here’s how to take control without giving up your phone completely.
②A good way to use your phone less is to pick a special time each day. Choose 30 minutes after school just for phone use. During this time, really focus on what you’re doing—watch videos, message friends, or play games. But when time’s up, put your phone away.
③Next, fight those noisy dings (叮当响声) and buzzes (蜂鸣声). Turn off all notifications (通知) except for important ones, Imagine this: Your phone stays quiet during homework hours, but still rings if your mom needs you. This simple change reduces the brain’s ideas of “check it now”. Without these, you’ll feel less pulled to check your phone every minute.
④Create places where phones aren’t allowed. Keep your phone out of these three places: the dinner table—talk to family instead, your bed-have a good sleep instead, and study areas—study hard instead. Try the “Doorway Method”: leave your phone by the front door when you get home, and only check it there when truly needed. If reaching for your phone requires walking downstairs, you’ll think twice.
⑤Scientists found that about 1/3 of phone time is just habit, not something we truly enjoy. That’s why the methods mentioned above. By making such small changes, you can save over 2 hours daily! Use that extra (额外的) time to read, play outside, or try a new hobby.
⑥Remember what an old Greek teacher once said, “Real freedom comes from controlling yourself.” Phones are tools, not bosses. Start small: Try one tip this week. Your phone will still be there, but you'll be in charge.

Should we hand over every job to machines Should we develop non-human minds that might finally become more intelligent (智能) than humans and finally replace (代替) us Should we risk losing control of our own future These questions were asked by many scientists last month in a science meeting
In most people’s mind, the rapid development of AI is of great help to humans. For example, AI has helped humans develop new medicine and design new materials to help with climate change.
When Chat GPT, a program developed by Open AI was first open to the public, it gained (获得) a million users in just one week, with that number quickly growing to 100 million within two months. It was widely used to do things like writing articles and creating speeches.
However, some have started to worry, Will AI go against humans one day Will AI take our place and all the people lose their jobs Will bad people use AI to harm others
These worries make scientists stop developing AI and start to think about better ways to use this technology. Most of them agree that laws should be made to make sure that AI is used safely.
Many governments are already taking action, though differently. For example, the UK, as well as the US, opens its arms for AI without any other rules than present ones because it regards it as a huge market, But Germany is more careful. It puts uses of AI in different areas into different levels of risk. Uses in some areas are not allowed, and companies that break the rules will be punished.
Making laws is the government’s duty, For us common people, it may be more important to think about how we can work more effectively with AI.

【答案】参考范文:
My Journey as a Duty Student
“If you cannot clean your own room, how can you take on the world ” This ancient saying reminds me of my days as a duty student. As a duty student, I am responsible for cleaning the blackboard, sweeping the floor and organizing bookshelves. These simple jobs keep our classroom tidy and create a good learning environment.
I will remember an unforgettable rainy afternoon last month. First, When I entered the classroom, the classroom windows were open. Rainwater flooded the floor, and books on the bookshelves were wet. Then, I rushed to close the windows, but the wind was too strong. Next, I called two classmates to help me hold them shut. After that, we used towels to clean the floor and moved the wet books to a dry table. Finally, we placed warning signs to keep others safe. Though we were soaked, we saved most of the books and made the classroom safe again.
Through this experience, I have got a deeper understanding of responsibility and the importance of teamwork. Even small tasks become easier when we work together. I will continue to keep my duties as a duty student and value the power of teamwork.
