Zero conditionals 零条件句
适用情况:客观真理 / 习惯性动作
1. 结构:
If + 一般现在时,主句 + 一般现在时(或祈使句)。
例:If you mix red and blue, you get purple.
如果混合红色和蓝色,就会得到紫色。
2. 特点:表达永恒真理、科学事实或反复发生的习惯,结果必然发生。
3. 时态:主从句均用一般现在时,强调 “必然结果”。
例:If water freezes, it becomes ice.(水结冰时会变成冰。—— 科学事实)
She gets angry if you lie to her.(如果你对她撒谎,她会生气。—— 习惯性反应)
First conditionals 第一条件句
适用情况:将来可能的情况
1. 结构:
If + 一般现在时,主句 + will + 动词原形(或情态动词 /can/may/should 等)。
例:If it rains tomorrow, we will stay at home.
如果明天下雨,我们就待在家里。
2. 特点:表达 将来可能发生的条件和结果,结果发生的可能性较高。
3. 时态:从句用一般现在时表将来,主句用 “will + 动词原形” 表将来的动作。
例:If you study hard, you will pass the exam.
(如果你努力学习,就会通过考试。—— 可能的结果)
