The reading passage, titled "Should We Fight New Technology ", begins by discussing an accident where a car in autonomous driving mode caused casualties. It then presents the attitudes of different groups towards technological development. On one hand, some groups maintain their ancient way of life, do not rely on modern technology, and prefer to live simply in a natural state. On the other hand, technological development has brought many benefits to people, such as the Internet making socializing and communication easier, and so on. The author also supports the convenience brought by technology from personal experience and experience, and expresses a positive attitude towards new technologies.
