的字母编号涂黑。
This year, my friend and I started a ping-pong club to help students relax and have fun through social and physical
activities. Our main goal was to create a 1 and welcoming space, especially for new students like me, to feel
involved. We also wanted to 2 our ping-pong and social skills like communication and teamwork. We even held
competitions 3 with other schools and plan to host several ping-pong events throughout the year.
At the club fair, I also signed up for a few other clubs. In UNICEF (联合国儿童基金会) Club, we learn about global
issues and about 4 to raise awareness of them.
Last year, we organized an activity to 5 money for people in Ethiopia. As this year’s communication
officer, I’m working to make our messages reach more people. This club made me 6 more about the problems
affecting children around the world.
I signed up for so many clubs that I felt like I was moving from one to another at first to 7 which ones I
wanted to spend my high school years in. While it might seem like a lot to manage with my schoolwork, volunteering and
jobs, I believe it’s worthwhile, at least for a few months. Trying out clubs that we weren’t interested in at the first sight can
lead to self-discovery. I learned that sometimes it’s okay to take “longcuts” instead of “shortcuts”. We should give ourselves
the 8 to explore rather than rush to choose based on others’ opinions.
Clubs have been such unique and 9 experiences for me. They’ve allowed me to meet people with similar
10 and broaden my understanding of the world. I’ve also had the chance to practice leadership skills and become more
involved in my learning.

find books that rich people had thrown away. He thought it was such a waste, so he began to collect the books.

In the fall of 2024, the Shenzhen Education Bureau launched (发布) an awesome “Half-day-per-week Plan”. 126
schools in Shenzhen have carried out the “Half-day-per-week Plan” courses (课程), with 37,000 students participating,

On the days when they go out, students have all kinds of choices. They can go to science museums to see the

Over the past few years, keyboards have quietly replaced everyday handwriting. However, research shows that
writing by hand has some special benefits that digital tools can’t give us.
31 When we write, we hold a pen with our fingers, press it on paper, and move our hands to create letters
and words. It requires a lot of our attention. This has been shown to support reading and spelling in children

apps to promote recycling. Shenzhen taught me that every small action, powered by innovation, can spark significant
