This Sichuan-based program not only protects giant pandas but also empowers local communities. By training over 500 farmers annually in sustainable practices like organic beekeeping and forest-friendly crop variation, it reduces habitat invasion (入侵). Since 2010, 120 km of forests have been restored, and 20 villages transitioned to eco-tourism. Cooperating with the WWF, the project integrates traditional knowledge with modern conservation science.

Desert Greening Corps (Africa-China Partnership)
In Sudan’s Sahara region, Chinese engineers and African agronomists (农学家) employ drip irrigation and drought-resistant crops to recover deserts. Since 2018, 50 km of deserted land has become rich farmland, supporting 10,000+ families. The project trains locals in solar-powered water pumps, combining Chinese technology with African traditional farming wisdom. Annual grain output now goes beyond 12,000 tons.

Music filled the silence of the practice room. Our teacher made the dance look so easy when she was demonstrating it herself. Her movements flowed naturally with the rhythm of the music. Her eyes filled with confidence while she looked at herself in the mirror. Her dancing appealed to me.
Finishing the demonstration, she told us, “It’s your time to shine!” Over the course of four months, we practiced week after week as we prepared for our final performance: a real performance with an actual audience. That thought of standing onstage in front of a cheering crowd gave me instant stage fright.
In the beginning, we’d even grab drinks together after rehearsal (排练) and evaluate our own mistakes from the sessions. However, after a couple of weeks, our movements weren’t the same as usual. Some of my classmates no longer cared about the performance; others no longer felt motivated to improve their dancing abilities. So why did we continue practising if we didn’t even plan to finish it
Matching the teacher’s dancing was an impossible goal. But I still used the course as a chance to start improving, even if it meant that I started at the very bottom. I didn’t pressure myself to perfect the choreography (编舞). I let that pressure move through my body instead, until I no longer saw myself in the mirror memorizing steps but actually dancing to the music.
On the day of the performance, recalling the way my teacher danced attracted me that first day, I entered the stage. I couldn’t see the audience through the bright spotlights. It was all dark around us, which made me less nervous. I only focused on my body, my mind, and the music. My mind was empty; I lost myself in the dance. I succeeded. And I knew at that moment, I engaged others, too.
24. What do we know about the author’s teacher
A. She proved dance learning was easy. B. She enjoyed looking into the mirror.
C. She showed a positive self-identity. D. She was demanding with students.
25. What occurred to some classmates after weeks of rehearsal
A. They stopped seeking feedback actively.
B. They lost enthusiasm for practising.
C. They focused on other things instead.
D. They avoided social interactions post-practice.
26. How did the author practise dancing
A. By observing every small step. B. By arranging the movements.
C. By prolonging practice hours. D. By co-existing with pressure.
27. What is the suitable title for the text
A. Dancing my way to Success B. A Rewarding Dance Rehearsal
C. Forgetting Fright in Dance D. The Power of Dance Practice

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing numerous industries worldwide, and education is no exception. In India, where the education system serves over 250 million students, AI presents both revolutionary opportunities and notable challenges.
AI-powered platforms can help a student struggling with math by offering customized practice problems, ensuring no learner is left behind. AI technologies can bridge gaps in education by making learning resources accessible to economically disadvantaged communities. AI can assist teachers in generating content in line with curriculum requirements, saving time and effort. By automating tasks like grading and attendance, AI enables educators to focus more on teaching. Additionally, AI can serve as a virtual assistant to teachers, offering insights into student progress and areas requiring intervention.
While AI can enhance education, it requires educators to understand and effectively use these technologies. A lack of teacher training in AI tools can prevent the successful integration of such technologies into the classroom. To exploit the potential of AI in education, India must take a balanced approach such as investing in infrastructure, teacher training, policy support, public-private partnerships and inclusion initiatives.
The use of AI in education raises questions about data privacy and security. Ensuring that student data is protected from misuse and breaches (违约) is a significant challenge. Plus, concerns about AI replacing human educators need to be addressed. Traditional mindsets (心态) in education, both among educators and policymakers, can act as a barrier to the adoption of AI. Overcoming this resistance requires widespread awareness and policy-level support.
AI has the potential to revolutionize education in India, making it more inclusive, personalized, and future-ready. However, addressing challenges such as the digital divide, affordability, and ethical concerns is essential to ensure its successful adoption. With the right strategy and cooperation, AI can empower India to redefine its education system and equip its youth with the skills needed for the 21st century.
28. What does the author imply about AI in education
A. It helps learners boost productivity. B. It enhances poor regions’ economy.
C. It inspires teachers to be innovative. D. It makes class administration easier.
29. What does the underlined word “exploit” in paragraph 3 mean
A. Employ. B. Notice.
C. Understand. D. Explore.
30. What limits AI’s combination with education in India
A. Unpractical teacher training. B. Useless student information.
C. Unwillingness to change. D. Unjust social backgrounds.
31. Why should AI be integrated into education
A. To bridge the digital divide. B. To keep pace with the times.
C. To reduce costs of education. D. To handle huge uncertainties.
D
As artists, we often find ourselves chasing an indefinable idea of perfection. We imagine faultless lines, color schemes, and compositions that exactly match our vision. But what happens when that perfection doesn’t materialize When the final product doesn’t look like what we had in our minds For many artists, this can lead to frustration, self-doubt, and even a sense of failure. Perfection is an illusion (幻觉), especially in art. What one person sees as perfect, another may view as lacking. Each viewer brings their own experiences, emotions, and perceptions to a piece, creating a unique connection impossible to standardize.
By pursuing perfection, we often forget the true essence of art. Art is about communicating feelings, thoughts, and ideas that words sometimes can’t capture. When we focus too much on perfection, we risk reducing the raw emotion and unique perspective that make our work special.
Your art is a reflection of who you are — your experiences, your emotions, your perspective on the world. It’s a visual diary of your journey as an artist, and like any journey, it’s filled with ups and downs, successes and mistakes. Those so-called “imperfections” in your work are what make it distinctly yours. They are the fingerprints of your creativity, the marks of your individuality. Think about your favorite artists. Are you drawn to them because their work is technically perfect, or because their work has a connection with you on a deeper level More often than not, it’s the latter.
Imperfection is not a flaw (缺陷); it’s an opportunity. It’s in those unexpected brushstrokes, the uneven lines, and the unconventional choices that true creativity is born. When you embrace imperfection, you open the door to experimentation, exploration, and growth. You give yourself permission to try new things, to push boundaries, and to discover new facets of your artistic voice.
32. What is the feature of perfection in art
A. It worsens artists’ finances. B. It causes blind comparison.
C. It depends on many factors. D. It has a fairly fixed concept.
33. What is the basic quality of art
A. A means of expression. B. A reflection of culture.
C. A journey of creation. D. A record of daily life.
34. What should artists do to accept “imperfection”
A. Show respect for viewers. B. Extend thanks to setbacks.
C. Be brave to challenge authority. D. Value their own uniqueness.
35. What does the last paragraph mainly talk about
A. The worth of imperfection. B. The nature of imperfection.
C. The underlying logic of flaws. D. The common ground of flaws.
第二节(共5小题;每小题2.5分,满分12.5分)
阅读下面短文,从短文后的选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。
First aid refers to the initial medical attention given immediately after an injury or an accident. 36 They think it’s a job exclusive to medical professionals. In fact, it’s a life skill we all should try to learn.
According to The Guardian, over 150,000 people get critically injured or die yearly because of people’s lack of first aid knowledge. That’s a tall number considering we live in the modern age. Thus, more people must know what to do in case of accidents or medical emergencies. 37 We can reduce these life-threatening situations by learning the prompt care needed in such situations.
Whether we like it or not, accidents and emergencies happen at any time. 38 In the USA alone, over six million people are involved in traffic accidents each year. In fact, it’s the leading cause of death for people between the ages of 1 and 54. That said, no one can predict when or where disaster may strike. These accidents can happen at home, at work, or while in transit. That’s why basic first aid skills like CPR, disinfecting (消毒) wounds, and learning to stop bleeding can go a long way.
39 It’s a vital step that prevents injuries from worsening until full medical help arrives. For instance, when a person experiences cardiac arrest, they only have 3 to 4 minutes before the brain lacks oxygen. What you do in these minutes will impact the patient’s condition. Calling for an ambulance is, of course, your priority. 40
A. Developed countries witness a greater death rate. B. But it might encounter traffic jams during rush hours. C. However, if you can employ CPR, it can relieve the damage. D. It’s a part of our reality that we must always prepare ourselves for. E. The bad news is that not many people know the importance of first aid. F. Heart attacks and choking endanger thousands of lives on a yearly basis. G. The first few minutes are the most critical in the case of a medical emergency.

Alex rode his bike on his way home, and Johnson's pond came into view.
Sometimes his dad took him canoeing(划独木舟)there, and Alex loved it. The pond was always so alive with activity, and sometimes Alex discovered turtles(乌龟)sunbathing on sunny rocks. Alex was curious about turtles. When it was too rainy to go canoeing, he often went to the library to check out books on turtles.
Now it looked like tomorrow might be another sunny day. He decided to ask Dad if they could go canoeing and look for turtles again. Suddenly Alex saw something in the road up ahead. It looked like a big gray rock. But it was a funny place for a rock to be. He jumped off to have a look.
And then, the rock started to move! It was actually a large turtle slowly making its way across the road! Alex knew right away it was a snapping turtle.
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a car approaching. The turtle was still only halfway across the road. Alex knew he couldn't pick it up because snapping turtles have a powerful bite and they could even bite off someone's finger! What could he do
Thinking fast, he started waving both hands wildly. "Stop! Stop!" he cried. The car slowed to a stop.
"Are you all right, Alex " It was his neighbor, Mrs. Ramos.
"I'm fine, Mrs. Ramos," said Alex. "I'm just trying to save a turtle. It's probably going to lay eggs."
"Oh, yeah. It's spring," said Mrs. Ramos. "So, I guess a lot of turtles need to lay their eggs in the grass across the road." Then she waved goodbye and drove off.
Alex thought about what Mrs. Ramos had said. "There would probably be more turtles trying to cross the road at this spot!" he realized. But he couldn't stand there all day trying to stop cars. He looked around and a road sign caught his eye. And then his face brightened.

Music filled the silence of the practice room. Our teacher made the dance look so easy when
she was demonstrating it herself. Her movements flowed naturally with the rhythm of the music.
Her eyes filled with confidence while she looked at herself in the mirror. Her dancing appealed to
me.
Finishing the demonstration, she told us, “It’s your time to shine!” Over the course of four
months, we practiced week after week as we prepared for our final performance: a real performance
with an actual audience. That thought of standing onstage in front of a cheering crowd gave me
instant stage fright.
In the beginning, we’d even grab drinks together after rehearsal (排练) and evaluate our own
mistakes from the sessions. However, after a couple of weeks, our movements weren’t the same as
usual. Some of my classmates no longer cared about the performance; others no longer felt motivated
to improve their dancing abilities. So why did we continue practising if we didn’t even plan to finish
it
Matching the teacher’s dancing was an impossible goal. But I still used the course as a chance
to start improving, even if it meant that I started at the very bottom. I didn’t pressure myself to
perfect the choreography (编舞). I let that pressure move through my body instead, until I no longer
saw myself in the mirror memorizing steps but actually dancing to the music.
On the day of the performance, recalling the way my teacher danced attracted me that first day,
I entered the stage. I couldn’t see the audience through the bright spotlights. It was all dark around
us, which made me less nervous. I only focused on my body, my mind, and the music. My mind was
empty; I lost myself in the dance. I succeeded. And I knew at that moment, I engaged others, too.
24. What do we know about the author’s teacher
A. She proved dance learning was easy. B. She enjoyed looking into the mirror.
C. She showed a positive self-identity. D. She was demanding with students.
25. What occurred to some classmates after weeks of rehearsal A. They stopped seeking feedback
actively.
B. They lost enthusiasm for practising.
C. They focused on other things instead.
D. They avoided social interactions post-practice.
26. How did the author practise dancing
A. By observing every small step. B. By arranging the movements.
C. By prolonging practice hours. 27. D. By co-existing with pressure.
What is the suitable title for the text
A. Dancing my way to Success B. A Rewarding Dance Rehearsal
C. Forgetting Fright in Dance D. The Power of Dance Practice

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing numerous industries worldwide, and education is no
exception. In India, where the education system serves over 250 million students, AI presents both
revolutionary opportunities and notable challenges.
AI-powered platforms can help a student struggling with math by offering customized practice
problems, ensuring no learner is left behind. AI technologies can bridge gaps in education by making
learning resources accessible to economically disadvantaged communities. AI can assist teachers in
generating content in line with curriculum requirements, saving time and effort. By automating tasks
like grading and attendance, AI enables educators to focus more on teaching. Additionally, AI can
serve as a virtual assistant to teachers, offering insights into student progress and areas requiring
intervention.
While AI can enhance education, it requires educators to understand and effectively use these
technologies. A lack of teacher training in AI tools can prevent the successful integration of such
technologies into the classroom. To exploit the potential of AI in education, India must take a
balanced approach such as investing in infrastructure, teacher training, policy support, public-private
partnerships and inclusion initiatives.
The use of AI in education raises questions about data privacy and security. Ensuring that
student data is protected from misuse and breaches ( 违约 ) is a significant challenge. Plus, concerns
about AI replacing human educators need to be addressed. Traditional mindsets (心态) in education,
both among educators and policymakers, can act as a barrier to the adoption of AI. Overcoming this
resistance requires widespread awareness and policy-level support.
AI has the potential to revolutionize education in India, making it more inclusive, personalized,
and future-ready. However, addressing challenges such as the digital divide, affordability, and ethical
concerns is essential to ensure its successful adoption. With the right strategy and cooperation, AI
can empower India to redefine its education system and equip its youth with the skills needed for
the 21st century.
28. What does the author imply about AI in education
A. It helps learners boost productivity. B. It enhances poor regions’ economy.
C. It inspires teachers to be innovative. D. It makes class administration easier.
29. What does the underlined word “exploit” in paragraph 3 mean
A. Employ. B. Notice.
C. Understand. D. Explore.
30. What limits AI’s combination with education in India
A. Unpractical teacher training. B. Useless student information.
C. Unwillingness to change. D. Unjust social backgrounds.
31. Why should AI be integrated into education
A. To bridge the digital divide. B. To keep pace with the times.
C. To reduce costs of education. D. To handle huge uncertainties.
D
As artists, we often find ourselves chasing an indefinable idea of perfection. We imagine
faultless lines, color schemes, and compositions that exactly match our vision. But what happens
when that perfection doesn’t materialize When the final product doesn’t look like what we had in
our minds For many artists, this can lead to frustration, self-doubt, and even a sense of failure.
Perfection is an illusion (幻觉), especially in art. What one person sees as perfect, another may view
as lacking. Each viewer brings their own experiences, emotions, and perceptions to a piece, creating
a unique connection impossible to standardize.
By pursuing perfection, we often forget the true essence of art. Art is about communicating
feelings, thoughts, and ideas that words sometimes can’t capture. When we focus too much on
perfection, we risk reducing the raw emotion and unique perspective that make our work special.
Your art is a reflection of who you are — your experiences, your emotions, your perspective
on the world. It’s a visual diary of your journey as an artist, and like any journey, it’s filled with ups
and downs, successes and mistakes. Those so-called “imperfections” in your work are what make it
distinctly yours. They are the fingerprints of your creativity, the marks of your individuality. Think
about your favorite artists. Are you drawn to them because their work is technically perfect, or
because their work has a connection with you on a deeper level More often than not, it’s the latter.
Imperfection is not a flaw (缺陷); it’s an opportunity. It’s in those unexpected brushstrokes, the
uneven lines, and the unconventional choices that true creativity is born. When you embrace
imperfection, you open the door to experimentation, exploration, and growth. You give yourself
permission to try new things, to push boundaries, and to discover new facets of your artistic voice.

First aid refers to the initial medical attention given immediately after an injury or an accident.
36 They think it’s a job exclusive to medical professionals. In fact, it’s a life skill we all should try
to learn.
According to The Guardian, over 150,000 people get critically injured or die yearly because of
people’s lack of first aid knowledge. That’s a tall number considering we live in the modern age.
Thus, more people must know what to do in case of accidents or medical emergencies. 37 We can
reduce these life-threatening situations by learning the prompt care needed in such situations.
Whether we like it or not, accidents and emergencies happen at any time. 38 In the USA alone,
over six million people are involved in traffic accidents each year. In fact, it’s the leading cause of
death for people between the ages of 1 and 54. That said, no one can predict when or where disaster
may strike. These accidents can happen at home, at work, or while in transit. That’s why basic first
aid skills like CPR, disinfecting ( 消毒 ) wounds, and learning to stop bleeding can go a long way.
39 It’s a vital step that prevents injuries from worsening until full medical help arrives. For
instance, when a person experiences cardiac arrest, they only have 3 to 4 minutes before the brain
lacks oxygen. What you do in these minutes will impact the patient’s condition. Calling for an
ambulance is, of course, your priority. 40
G. The first few
minutes are the most critical in the case of a medical emergency.

Alex rode his bike on his way home, and Johnson's pond came into view.
Sometimes his dad took him canoeing(划独木舟)there, and Alex loved it. The pond was
always so alive with activity, and sometimes Alex discovered turtles(乌龟)sunbathing on sunny
rocks. Alex was curious about turtles. When it was too rainy to go canoeing, he often went to the
library to check out books on turtles.
Now it looked like tomorrow might be another sunny day. He decided to ask Dad if they could
go canoeing and look for turtles again. Suddenly Alex saw something in the road up ahead. It looked
like a big gray rock. But it was a funny place for a rock to be. He jumped off to have a look.
And then, the rock started to move! It was actually a large turtle slowly making its way across
the road! Alex knew right away it was a snapping turtle.
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a car approaching. The turtle was still only halfway across
the road. Alex knew he couldn't pick it up because snapping turtles have a powerful bite and they
could even bite off someone's finger! What could he do
Thinking fast, he started waving both hands wildly. "Stop! Stop!" he cried. The car slowed to a
stop.
"Are you all right, Alex " It was his neighbor, Mrs. Ramos.
"I'm fine, Mrs. Ramos," said Alex. "I'm just trying to save a turtle. It's probably going to lay
eggs."
"Oh, yeah. It's spring," said Mrs. Ramos. "So, I guess a lot of turtles need to lay their eggs in
the grass across the road." Then she waved goodbye and drove off.
Alex thought about what Mrs. Ramos had said. "There would probably be more turtles trying
to cross the road at this spot!" he realized. But he couldn't stand there all day trying to stop cars.
He looked around and a road sign caught his eye. And then his face brightened.

Dear teachers and students,
The conservation of wildlife means the conservation of us human beings. Here are some "dos and don'ts" for every last man to follow.
Firstly, protect the habitats of wildlife, maintaining the balance of ecology. Besides, immediately report to the relevant local authorities any illegal act of hunting or killing wild animals. Furthermore, refuse to eat wild animals. Last but not least, do not release wild animals at will to prevent the invasion of alien species.
Let us coexist with all creatures in the wild and live in harmony with nature, starting from ourselves. Looking forward to your support and participation!

Paragraph 1:
He jumped on his bike and raced home to find Dad. "Dad, can I have some old wood to make a wooden sign " Alex asked eagerly. Hearing Alex's full explanation, Dad then smiled knowingly. Then the father and son devoted themselves to cutting a wooden board into the right "T" shape. After that, Alex wrote down a line with red paint on both sides of the sign, reading "Slow! Turtles Crossing!" Work all done, they put the wooden sign into their car and went for dinner.
Paragraph 2:
The next morning, Dad and Alex drove to the pond with the wooden sign in the car. Upon arriving, they sprang into action. Alex pulled the sign to the side of the road and held it tightly while Dad hammered it into the ground. Sweat dripping into their eyes, they worked with passion until the sign got fixed firmly in the ground. Alex stepped back and surveyed their work. "Slow! Turtles Crossing!" he read out loud and grinned. "Ready to go canoeing " "Yes!" Alex blurted, rushing to the pond with pride. This simple act of creating a sign not only protected the turtles' safe journey but also taught Alex that even small efforts can make a big difference in safeguarding the precious harmony of nature.

M: Happy New Year, students! We hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas, but it’s time to get back to work. We have a lot to do between now and your summer vacation, and the first thing on the agenda is to prepare for this year’s performance of The Little Mermaid. In order for this play to work, we need everyone to help. Mrs. Blake is holding tryouts in the drama room after school. Music students are encouraged to see their teacher in the band room. This lunch hour, we are looking for people to work on the stage crew. If you would like to be a lighting director, a stage manager, or a part of the sound crew, go to the video room. Art students will be mainly responsible for creating a large ocean painting that will be used for the background. Other duties include painting furniture, making posters and other promotional material, and creating decorations. Volunteers will help do the work, too. If all goes well, we will finish our preparations by March 31st. This will give Mrs. Blake and the cast a full month to practice for the performance. At the beginning of May, they will be able to give us an amazing performance.参考答案

M: Well, as a small child, I never had much interest in horses, though I wasn’t scared of
them. My older sister started horse-riding lessons. I saw the look on her face when she
came home — really cheerful, so that’s why I decided to try it.
W: Do you think horse-riding makes you fitter
M: Actually I was always pretty fit because I liked walking, but being with horses so
much has made me calmer and more willing to wait for things.
W: Do you take part in horse-riding competitions
M: Yeah. I thought they were just for people who own their horses, but you can borrow
or even hire one easily enough. And I met lots of friends there.
W: Will you carry on riding when you’re older
M: My family suggested I could teach the little kids at the club to ride, but what really
attracts me is the idea of training horses, you know, the ones they use for races.

M: Happy New Year, students! We hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas, but it’s
time to get back to work. We have a lot to do between now and your summer vacation,
and the first thing on the agenda is to prepare for this year’s performance of The Little
Mermaid. In order for this play to work, we need everyone to help. Mrs. Blake is holding
tryouts in the drama room after school. Music students are encouraged to see their
teacher in the band room. This lunch hour, we are looking for people to work on the
stage crew. If you would like to be a lighting director, a stage manager, or a part of the
sound crew, go to the video room. Art students will be mainly responsible for creating
a large ocean painting that will be used for the background. Other duties include
painting furniture, making posters and other promotional material, and creating
decorations. Volunteers will help do the work, too. If all goes well, we will finish our
preparations by March 31st. This will give Mrs. Blake and the cast a full month to
practice for the performance. At the beginning of May, they will be able to give us an
amazing performance.参考答案

第四部分 写作
第一节

第二节

第四部分 写作
第一节
Dear teachers and students,
The conservation of wildlife means the conservation of us human beings. Here
are some "dos and don'ts" for every last man to follow.
Firstly, protect the habitats of wildlife, maintaining the balance of ecology.
Besides, immediately report to the relevant local authorities any illegal act of hunting
or killing wild animals. Furthermore, refuse to eat wild animals. Last but not least, do
not release wild animals at will to prevent the invasion of alien species.
Let us coexist with all creatures in the wild and live in harmony with nature,
starting from ourselves. Looking forward to your support and participation!

第二节
Paragraph 1:
He jumped on his bike and raced home to find Dad. "Dad, can I have some old
wood to make a wooden sign " Alex asked eagerly. Hearing Alex's full explanation,
Dad then smiled knowingly. Then the father and son devoted themselves to cutting a
wooden board into the right "T" shape. After that, Alex wrote down a line with red paint
on both sides of the sign, reading "Slow! Turtles Crossing!" Work all done, they put the
wooden sign into their car and went for dinner.
Paragraph 2:
The next morning, Dad and Alex drove to the pond with the wooden sign in the car.
Upon arriving, they sprang into action. Alex pulled the sign to the side of the road and
held it tightly while Dad hammered it into the ground. Sweat dripping into their eyes,
they worked with passion until the sign got fixed firmly in the ground. Alex stepped
back and surveyed their work. "Slow! Turtles Crossing!" he read out loud and grinned.
"Ready to go canoeing " "Yes!" Alex blurted, rushing to the pond with pride. This
simple act of creating a sign not only protected the turtles' safe journey but also taught
Alex that even small efforts can make a big difference in safeguarding the precious
harmony of nature. 听力材料

W: Well, I have other plans …
M: Oh, don’t lie to me. You told me yesterday that you didn’t know what to do for the
weekend. Did you have a quarrel with Janice or something
W: Oh, no. It’s not like that. Okay, I confess. You know it’s a barbecue, which means
meat would be involved. I just hate to make others feel awkward since I eat no meat at
all.

Plus, I already told my sister to prepare many vegetables for you. W:

W: Noah, why did you start horse-riding
Text 10
At the beginning of May, they will be able to give us an
amazing performance.
