Xuanzang was a well-known Buddhist monk (佛教僧侣) from China. He made a long journey to India to study Buddhism in its original form. Xuanzang became important because of his travels and his deep knowledge. He brought many scriptures back to China . He also wrote a book about his travels called The Great Tang Records on the Western Regions, which described what he saw in other countries. People admire Xuanzang for his courage and his strong will to learn. I believe Xuanzang was a wise and thoughtful person. His life teaches us to be curious and to respect different cultures and beliefs.
