1. 当元音字母后面有两个r字母时，需要遵循两个元音字母夹着两个辅音字母时的分音节原则，即一个辅音归前一个音节，另一个辅音归后一个音节。例如：hurry (/ h ri/)中的u发/ /音，carrot (/ k r t/)中的a发/ /音，sorry (/ s ri/)中的o发/ /音。这些元音字母读它们在重读闭音节中的发音。
2. r音节如果要保持它的发音规律，后面不能接元音字母，如果带了元音字母，则不遵循r音节的发音规律，如area,hero等。
