Will it matter if you don’t take your breakfast A short time ago, a test was given in the US. People of different ages, from 12 to 83, were asked to have a test. There once was a happy monkey living in the forest, eating delicious food when he was hungry and resting when he was tired. One day, he came to a house where he saw a bowl of the most beautiful apples. He took one in each hand and ran back into the forest.
The monkey tried to eat them, but he hurt his teeth. They were wooden (木头的) apples, although they were beautiful. And when the other monkeys saw them, he held onto them even harder.
The monkey liked the wooden apples so much that he couldn’t collect fruit from a fruit tree with his hands full. He was so tired and hungry. The apples became heavier and the poor little monkey thought about leaving them behind. Seeing the next fruit tree, he dropped the wooden apples and reached for his meal. He was happy again.

I’d like to share something fun about our school trip to Shouxian Ancient Town with you.
We went there last Saturday by bus. It took about two hours. During the trip, we did many interesting things. First, we visited the Shou County Ancient City Wall, which was built over 900 years ago. We walked on the wall and learned about its long history. Second, we went to see Huainan Bao’en Temple. The old buildings there were really beautiful. Third, we also tried some tasty local food in the town. It was delicious!
I felt very excited and happy about this trip. It helped me learn more about Chinese history and culture. I’m so proud of our rich heritage.
Yours,
