fill(及物动词)装满;盛满;其反义词empty意为“倒空”。
fill...with... 用..…把…….装满

trip名词,译为“旅行、行程”。
常见搭配:the trip to ... 去...的旅行

We’re taking a trip to the countryside next month. 下个月我们要去乡村旅行。

journey, trip, travel与tour区别:
journey着重指“长距离的、陆上的旅行”
trip 指“任何方式的短途旅行”
travel泛指旅行的过程,尤指出国旅行
tour常指“以游览、视察、购物等为目的的旅行”

1、used to 的用法
used to表示“过去常常”,to是不定式符号,后接动词原形。
I used to be afraid of the dark.
used to的否定形式是didn't use to或者used not to。
He didn't use to smoke. =He used not to smoke.
used to的疑问句也有两种形式,一种是“Did+主语+use to+动词原形”。另一种(不常用)形式是“Used+主语+to+动词原形”

常见搭配:it’s useful to do sth. 做某事是有用的。
use sth. to do sth. “用某物做某事”
2. too...to...的用法
too + 形容词/副词 + to + 动词原形 “太……以至于不能……”
这里的too表示“过于”或“太”,后面跟形容词/副词描述程度,to引导一个结果,表示“以至于不能……”。
too ... to ... 可与so ... that或not ... enough进行转换。
These things are usually too small to see.
=These things are so small that we can’t see them.
=These things are not big enough to see.
这些物质通常都很微小, 以至于我们无法看见。
try on试穿;指试穿(衣服、鞋子)及试戴(帽子)等,其中的on为副词,当宾语为代词时,代词要放在两词之间;如果宾语是名词,则放在on之前或之后均可。
The new coat is for you. Please try it on.
这件新外套是给你的。请试穿一下。

一般过去时
1.过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态。
如:I got up at six this morning.
2.表示过去习惯性、经常性的动作。
如:I always walked to school last year.
时间标志词:before,then,yesterday,last Sunday,an hour ago,

动词过去式的不规则变化(课本P118-119)
不规则动词的过去式变化各异,没有统一的规则,但也并非一点规律没 有,下面介绍一部分动词过去式的记忆规律。
①动词过去式与动词原形一样。如:let→let, put→put, cut→cut。
②遇见i改为a。如: swim→swam, sing →sang, begin→began。
助记:过去式将i改为a的动词
游泳(swim)唱歌(sing)后,开始(begin)坐(sit)下来,
给(give)点儿喝(drink)的吧,i就变为a。
③过去式以ought和aught结尾的单词,
如: bring→brought, buy→bought, think→thought, teach →taught
④中间去e末尾加t,如:feel→____, keep→kept, sleep→ ____, sweep → swept
⑤把i变为o,如: ride→rode, drive→______, write → wrote。
⑥ow/aw变为ew,如:know→knew,grow→_____,throw→threw,draw→drew。
⑦以d结尾的词, 把d变成t,
如: build→built, lend→lent, send→_____, spend→ spent。
⑧连系动词be的过去式有两种形式,主语是第一、三人称单数用
