语法总结6连词
1.定义 连词是一种虚词，不能单独充当句子成分，在句中只起连接作用。连词分为并列连词和从属连词两种。并列连词是连接彼此并列关系的词。从属连词是用来引导从句的词。
2.并列连词
(1)并列关系
and“和” He got up and left the room.
both...and...“…和…都” I like both sports and music.
neither...nor...“既不…也不…”Neither Tom nor you are a driver.
not only...but also...“不但…而且..." She learns not only English but also Japanese.
转折关系
but“但是” She is tired but happy.
yet“然而” He has a good job, yet he never has money.
while“然而” I like spring while my brother likes winter.
因果关系
so“所以” I got up late today, so I was late for school.
for“所以” I went to sleep soon, for I was very tired.
选择关系
or“或者” Would you like coffee or tea
either...or...“要么…要么…” Either you or she is wrong.
3.从属连词
引导名词性从句
连接主语从句、表语从句与宾语从句的连词只有三个，即that, if, whether.
Ask her if she will come with me.The reason is that she never wasted her time.
I don't know whether he had passed the exam.
3.引导状语从句
(1).连接时间状语从句 since, until, after, before. when, while, as soon as, whenever.I'll tell you as soon as I know.
(2)连接地点状语从句 where, wherever.I found my books where I had left them.
(3)连接让步状语从句 although, though, even if. however.
Although she was tired, she kept on working.
(4)连接原因状语从句 as, because, since, now that.
He was absent because he was ill.
(5) 连接目的状语从句 that. so that, in order that.
He raised his voice so that we could hear him.
(6)连接条件状语从句 if, unless, once, in case.
You'll miss the train unless you hurry up.
连接结果状语从句 so ...that, such ...that.
He came so late that he missed the class.
(8)连接比较状语从句 as ...as ... , not so ...as ... , less(more) ...than, the ...the ...

(9)连接方式状语从句 as, as if It looks as if it was going to rain.
4.常用从属连词的辨析
(1).when,while,as
when 引导的从句,谓语既可以是延续性动词,也可以是非延续性动词,主从句动作可同时发生也可先后发生。I want to be a teacher when I grow up.
while 引导的从句,谓语只能是延续性动词,强调某一段时间内主从句动作同时发生，常对同类的动作进行对比。While we were waiting for a bus, it was raining heavily.
as 作从属连词引导时间状语时强调主句和从句的动作并行发生，不指先后，尤指短动作或事件同时发生。As I looked, someone came near.
(2)because, as,for
because 意为“因为”，表示造成某种情况的直接原因,语气最强,常用来回答由why构成的问句。Why do you like talk shows - Because they are interesting.
as 表示原因时，引出的理由在说话人看来很明显，不需要用because加以强调。As she is a student, she can't drive a car.
for 补充说明理由，不用于句首，用逗号与前面的分句隔开，且for分句不能用来回答why 问句。I didn't go out yesterday, for the weather was very bad.
