语法总结7 形容词
1.定义 用来修饰名词，表示人或事物的性质、状态和特征的词，叫形容词。在句中可作定语、表语、宾语补足语。
2.形容词的位置
(1)形容词修饰名词时放在名词前，修饰不定代词时则要放在不定代词后。
如:a clever boy一个聪明的男孩something important重要的事
(2)多个形容词修饰名词时的顺序:限定词(冠词、代词、数词)一描绘词(大小、长
短、新旧、颜色等)一出处一材料一类别一名词。如:a famous Chinese medical school
3.形容词的比较级和最高级
规则变化
(1)一般情况，直接加-er/-est tall-taller-tallest
(2)以e结尾的词， 直接加-加-r/-st nice-nicer-nicest
(3)以“辅音+y”结尾的词，变y为i再加-er/-est dry-drier-driest
(4)以一个辅音字的词，辅音字母双写，再加-er/-est thin-thinner-thinnest；
big -bigger-biggest
(5)多音节和部分单词 在词前加more /most delicious-more delicious-most- delicious
4.不规则变化(好坏多少远)

5.形容词比较级的用法
(1).表示原级比较，用as+原级+as ...像......一样
My uncle is as tall as your father.
(2).表示两者进行比较时用形容词比较级，一般情况下句中有连词than。
He is taller than me.
(3).表示“越……越……”时，用“the+比较级，the+比较级”结构:表示“越来越……”时，用“比较级+and+比较级”结构。
如:The more, the better.She became more and more beautiful.
(4).如果有 much, a little, a lot, still, even, rather等修饰形容词表示程度,要用比较级。如:Tom is feeling a lot better today.
6.形容词最高级的用法
(1).表示三者或三者以上的人或物进行比较时，用最高级形式。形容词最高级前必须加定冠词 the,且疑问词要用which 或who.
Which boy is the tallest, Mike, Jim or Tom
(2).句中有表示范围的介词短语，如in the class, of the three, of all等时，要用最高级，形容词最高级前要加the。of后面一般接表示一群人或事物的代词或名词。in 后面一般接表示单位或场所的名词。
Susan is the most beautiful girl of the three.
(3).表示“最……的……之一”时，要用“one of the+形容词最高级+名词复数”结构。Shanghai is one of the largest cities in China.
(4).形容词最高级前加序数词，表示“第儿最……”。
The Yellow River is the second longest river in China.
(5).当形容词最高级前有物主代词、指示代词、名词所有格时，不必加the。
Monday is her most painful day.
