1.although:/ l /,conj. 虽然,尽管
用法:引导让步状语从句,放句首句末均可。注意 although 不能与 but 同时出现在一个句子中,但可以和 yet 连用。例如:Although he is blind, he can take care of himself.(虽然他失明了,但他能照顾自己。)
2.bathroom:/ bɑ θru m/,n. 浴室,卫生间 同义表达:toilet,washroom 也可表示 “浴
室;卫生间” 。

形容词: true(真的;真实的;正确的 )

在句子中的位置通常是在 be 动词、情态动词、助动词之后,实义动词之前。
4.difference:/ d fr ns/,n. 差别,差异 形容词形式:different(不同的 ),
常见搭配 be different from(与…… 不同 ),反义词组为 be the same as(与…… 相同 );
构成短语: different kinds of(不同种类的 )make a difference to(对...有影响)
tell the difference between...(区分…… 之间的差别 )。
5.wise:/wa z/,adj. 明智的,明断的副词形式:wisely(明智地 );
名词形式:wisdom(智慧;才智 )。常见搭配:wise decision(明智的决定)
wise leader(英明的领导) wise advice(高明的建议) 。
