一、序数词的定义
序数词（Ordinal Numbers） 表示顺序或排名，如"第一"、"第二"等。
例：first（第1）、second（第2）、third（第3）、tenth（第10）等。
二、序数词的构成规则

三、序数词的用法
1. 表示顺序
He is the first to arrive.（他是第一个到的。）
Today is her twelfth birthday.（今天是她的12岁生日。）
2. 表示日期
May 1st（5月1日）→ May the first
October 23rd（10月23日）→ October the twenty-third
3. 表示楼层
She lives on the third floor.（她住在3楼。）
The office is on the tenth floor.（办公室在10楼。）
4. 表示世纪、年代
the 21st century（21世纪）
in the 1990s（20世纪90年代）
5. 表示排名
He won first prize.（他获得了一等奖。）
She came in second place.（她获得了第二名。）
四、易错点总结
1、1st, 2nd, 3rd 特殊变化（first, second, third），其余加th。
2、five → fifth, twelve → twelfth（注意拼写变化）。
