My Happy Summer Holiday
Last summer holiday, I had a wonderful time. I went to Guilin with my parents. We visited many beautiful places there, such as the Li River and Reed Flute Cave. The scenery was amazing, and I felt like I was in a beautiful painting.
One day, we took a bamboo raft on the Li River. During the trip, I met someone really interesting—a local guide who told us many funny stories about Guilin. He also taught me something about making traditional Chinese paper-cutting. I tried it myself and was so excited when I finished my first paper-cutting!
What’s more, we tasted many special foods. I tried something new—Guilin rice noodles, and they were delicious! I even bought some for my grandparents as gifts.
I didn’t want to leave Guilin because I enjoyed every moment there. It was truly a fantastic holiday, and I hope I can go somewhere as wonderful as Guilin again in the future!
