Resolutions are promises to yourself. They may help to make you a better person and to make your life easier.
I made two resolutions at the beginning of the year. The first resolution is about my physical health. I‘ m going to exercise more and eat less junk food. After all, health comes first. The second resolution is about my studies. I want to get better grades, so I’ m going to study harder. Taking more exercise and asking for teachers‘ help are also good ways for me to make progress.
Although it' s difficult to keep the resolutions, I will try my best to do it.

3a. Read the sentences and notice the words in bold. Then discuss when you use be going to.
一般将来时态
一、概念:表示将来某个时间要发生的动作或存在的状态,也表示将来经常或反复发生
的动作,常与表示将来的时间状语连用。
二、有两种构成形式:1. 由“助动词will + 动词原形”构成;
2. 由“be going to + 动词原形”构成。
三、表示将来的时间状语有:tomorrow, next week, next year, in the future...。
四、结构:肯定句、否定句、疑问句 (be going to)
be going to结构表示“意图、打算做某事或预见即将发生某事;be going to后接动词原形,be要根据主语的变化相应地变换为am, is或are。
e.g. He is going to buy her some flowers this weekend.
