鲸鲨是世界上最大的鱼类。它们体型比较大，成年以后的体长会在10-20米左右，体重一般都在30吨左右。它们整个身体上布满了淡色的斑点。它们的性格温和，而且只会吃一些海洋中的浮游生物以及小型鱼类。它们是滤食性的鱼类，对大型生物并不喜爱。

鱿鱼，即中国枪乌贼。鱿鱼身体细长，十条触手围着嘴边，八条较长，另两条较短，有一个退化的内壳和一对三角形或者圆形的鳍。 鱿鱼在中国分布在福建、广东沿海及南海，鱿鱼具有集群好斗的习性，与墨鱼一样可以不断变色适应周围环境， 以鱼、贝类、甲壳类等为食物。春季至秋季为产卵期，每年6-8月为盛产期。寿命只有10-18个月。
