教学主题 Look, listen and say & Look and say & Ask and answer & sing a song
一、教材分析
Look, listen and say 是呈现新知板块 。此板块设计了女孩 Sally 和男孩 Jack打电话 , 交流了Sally 一家人为了圣诞晚会而做的各种准备 , 并邀请Jack来 参加 。情景设计贴近学生生活实际 , 真实自然地呈现目标语言 。在语言内容设 计上 , 突出了目标语言 , 便于学生掌握本课重点内容。 Look and say是核心语言练习板块 。学生根据活动示范进行看图问答活 动 , 巩固核心句型 。情景是班级里的每一名师生为即将到来的班级圣诞晚会而 正在进行的准备活动 , 通过替换给定人物、动作的练习方式 , 巩固现在进行时的 特殊疑问句 , 同时让学生进一步理解此句型的语用功能。 Ask and answer是语言意义性练习板块 , 通过询问与回答来描述 Sally 一 家正在做的事情 , 巩固功能句型What ’s … doing He/she is … ”, 了解更多家庭 在圣诞节期间的传统活动 , 增强节日文化意识 , 培养学生语言运用能力。 sing a song呈现的是一首传统圣诞歌曲 , 学生学习唱这首歌 , 可以更好地 体验圣诞节日文化。
二、教学目标
1. 知识目标。 (1)能听懂、认读、理解单词 party、turkey。 (2)能听懂、会说、理解交际句型"What about … ”。 (3)能听懂、会说、认读核心句型"What's … doing He/she's … ”。 2. 能力目标。 (1)能准确模仿本课录音中的内容。 (2)能在图片、实物的帮助下或在真实情境中运用句型 "What's… doing He/she is… ”询问他人正在做的事情并回答。 (3)能准确吟唱歌曲We wish you a Merry Christmas. 。 3. 情感态度、文化意识、学习策略。 (1)体验节日的欢乐 , 增长学生节日文化知识 , 培养学生英语文化意识。 (2)主动探寻与发现各种节日元素。
三、教学重难点
在实际情境中运用句型" Is/Are … v-ing yes, I am. /No, I ’m not. Yes, he/ she is. /No, he/she isn't. yes, They are. /No, They aren ’t. ”询问某人正在做什么 并正确回答。
四、教学准备
1. 教师准备。 课本、单词卡、配套音响、教学挂图、多媒体课件、课堂奖励贴画等。 2. 学生准备。 课本。
五、教学流程设计
1. 热身活动。 (1)师生用英语互致问候。 (2)游戏:火眼金睛。 教师用课件快速出示相关单词或词组的图片: watching TV、jumping、 playing football、riding bike、drinking water、swimming、sleeping、running、 walking、eating banana、having class、singing、waving、stamping feet , 学生快速 说出单词或词组 , 为新课学习做铺垫。 (3)做一做 , 说一说。 教师请一名学生从刚才复习过的动词或词组中选一个做出动作 , 引导其他 学生猜动作名称。 2. 新知呈现与操练。 (1)由单词 singing的教学引入: " Sally is singing a song. Let ’s listen. What song is it ”。教师播放歌曲We wish you a merry Christmas. 并提问: "When is Christmas Day What do we often see on Christmas What do you do on Christmas Day ”。 由歌曲引入节日主题 , 师生讨论圣诞节的日期和大家所知道 的圣诞节活动 , 教师利用多媒体课件出示一些圣诞元素 , 如圣诞结、圣诞树、圣 诞姜饼人、红绿色装饰、圣诞老人和驯鹿等 , 还可以展示一些圣诞活动 , 如彩灯 装饰房子、送礼物、合家团聚、吃圣诞大餐等。 (2)教师出示 Sally 和 Jack 打电话的图片: "Jack is talking to Sally on the phone. What they are talking about ”引入话题 , 学生听板块一第 1 幅图的录音 , 回 答: "They are talking about a Christmas party.”, 引发学生对晚会的兴趣 。教师让 学生再看一遍第 1 幅图的动画视频 , 提问: "What's Sally doing ”。教师要适时板 书句子 , 并教读 。教师继续追问: "Can Jack see Sally Can Jack see Sally making the cake ”, 引导学生理解"What are you doing ”的语用环境 , 避免明知故问。 (3)教师出示第 2 幅图" Sally ’s Christmas party must be fun. What about the other members What are They doing for the party ”。 因为第 1 幅图隐藏 了第 2 幅图的线索 , 在观看第 1 幅图的基础上 , 教师可以先引导学生推测: "What ’s Sally ’s father doing ”, 再让学生看第 2 幅图视频动画 , 回答问题。 (4)教师出示第 3 幅图 " Sally and father are in the living room. Where is Sally ’s mother What's she doing for the party ”, 通过听见课件烤箱完成工作 时" 叮”的声音 , 教师让学生猜测: " She is in the … ”, 学生再听第 3 幅图的录音 , 回答What ’s your mother doing ”。 教师在多媒体课件播放到 " I like turkey very much. ”时 , 向学生提问: " Do you like turkey ”, 然后给学生讲解圣诞火鸡在圣诞晚餐中的重要性。 教师在多媒体课件展示第 4 幅图时总结: "Now let ’s see what Sally has for the party Sally has cake , Christmas tree , gifts and turkey for the Christmas party. ”, 并引出: " Is it a wonderful party But what ’s missing ”, 引导学生回答 : "Friends. ”。教师最后总结: "So Sally invites Jack to the party. ”。 教师接着提问: "What will Sally say to Jack ”。课件呈现出挖空的文本 , 第 1句空白 , 保留第 2句"All right. ”。学生推断Sally的话 , 看第 4 幅图的动画 , 进 行核对 , 此时教师可对学生进行情感教育: " The more we get together , the happier we ’ll be. ”。 教师还可以接着询问学生: "What will Jack do for the party ”, 这是开放性问 题 , 学生发散思维 , 可以回答: "Gift.”, 也可以是其他任何适合带到派对上的物品。 (6)教师播放录音 , 学生听录音 , 跟读 , 然后分角色朗读。 3. 巩固拓展。 (1)填空。 教师出示挖空的课文对话和单词 , 学生根据课文意思填空 。例如: Jack: Hi , Sally. What are you doing Sally: I ’m making a cake for our Christmas party. Jack:What's your father doing Sally : He is putting Gifts under the Christmas tree. Jack: What about your mother Sally : She is cooking turkey. Jack: Oh! I like turkey very much. Sally: Come to my home and play games with me. Jack : All right. (2)Look and say板块教学。 教师进行板块二的教学: " Sally and Steven ’s class is going to have a Christmas party. Who is busy for the party ”。教师带领学生观察图片 , 识别图 片中人物的名字 , 并提问 : " Let ’s Look at the pictures. What are they doing for the party Ask and answer in pairs. ”, 然后让学生两人一组进行看图说话。 (3)Ask and answer板块教学。 教师出示板块三内容并提问: " Sally, Tony and Steven come back from school. What do they usually do for Christmas Let ’s ask and answer in groups. ”, 并布置学生完成课本第 50 页的活动。 (4)看图说话。 教师播放一段关于圣诞节主题的动画片段 , 让学生观看 , 并鼓励学生描述 动画中的人物正在做什么 。教师也可以找相同主题的绘本图画书 , 选取其中的 图片 , 让学生描述。 4. 总结。 教师引导学生梳理本节课的重点词汇和语句 , 让学生自己总结出本节课的 收获 , 形成对学习成果的自我评价。
六、作业布置
1. 听录音 , 跟读录音若干遍。 2. 制作一本圣诞节主题的迷你书。
