【bottle】
①作名词,表示瓶子,例:water bottle 水瓶
②作计量单位“一瓶”,既可以修饰可数名词也能修饰不可数名词,例如:a bottle of milk 一瓶牛奶
【key】
作名词,意思是“钥匙,关键”,常用短语:the key to the door/problem 表示“门的钥匙/问题的关键”
Summary
名词:名词是表示人或事物名词的词。它既可以表示具体的东西,也可以表示抽象的东西。
名词的数:根据名词能否衡量其数量,名词又可以划分为可数名词(例:apple)和不可数名词(例:imagination)。可数名词又可以划分为单数可数名词和复数可数名词。
用法:a/an是不定冠词,只用在单数可数名词前,表示“一”。
注意:a用在以辅音音素开头的单数可数名词前,eg. a pen;
an用在以元音音素开头的单数可数名词前,eg. an apple
区分:元音字母和元音音素有所不同,以元音字母开头的单词不一定以元音音素开头,只有以元音音素开头的单数可数名词才可以用不定冠词an来修饰。
