【易混辨析】join 与 join in
join join表示加入某党派、组织或社会团体,成为其中的一员,也可指加入到某(些)人中。

join in join in表示参加正在进行着的、小规模的活动,如比赛、游戏等。
e.g. 我应该参加更多活动。I should join in more activities.

feeling n. 感觉;情感
feeling是一个可数名词,它的复数形式:直接加s。常用短语:
①have a feeling of 有…的感觉
e.g. 我有一种不祥的预感。
②read with feeling 带着情感读
e.g. 她是一个好演员,因为她可以带着强烈的情感读剧本。

清辅音浊化
①在同一个音节内;
②清辅音前是/s/;
③该清辅音又有其相对应的浊辅音;
④清辅音后面还有元音。
虽字母t的音素仍然是/t/,但在读音在却念成/d/,这是为什么呢?

除了在读单词时需要注意清辅音浊化,在读短语或句子时,也有需要注意的发音规则。
连读
在同一个意群中,前后相连的两个单词之间,前一个单词末尾的辅音和后一个单词词首的元音有时可连起来读,这种现象称为连读。连读现象是在语言交际中,特别是随着语速的加快而自然产生的,可用符号“ ”表示。常见的连读情况有以下几种:
(1)辅音+元音(两相连)
当前一个词的词尾是辅音,后一个词以元音开头时,这两个词连读。

(2)r / re + 元音(多个音)
当前一个词的词尾是r或re,后一个词的词首是元音时,这两个词可以连读,中间增加一个/r/音。例如:
Ask the teacher for it. I need a pair of sports shoes for school.
(3)辅音+辅音
①失去爆破:当前一个词的词尾是爆破音,后一个词的词首也是辅音时,这两个词可以连读,第一个失去爆破。例如:help me
②相似辅音读一次:前一个词的词尾和后一个词的词首是相似辅音,则只读一次。例如:Yes, sir.
n/ne, l/le也属于相同的连读情况

什么是爆破音?
辅音中因为发音器官在口腔中形成阻碍,然后气流冲破阻碍而发出的音叫做爆破音,如:/p//b//t//d//k//g/。
(4)省略h(常用him/her)
当前一个单词的词尾是一个辅音,后一个词的词首是不发音的/h/音,这两个单词可以连读。例如:tell him
(5)s, t, d遇上you(要变音)
当前一个单词的词尾以辅音/s/, /t/, /d/结尾,后一个单词是you,辅音的发音要进行变化。例如:miss you meet you did you

2. 略读
在单词或语句中,当三对爆破音/p/和/b/、/t/和/d/、/k/和/g/之中任何两个相邻时,第一个爆破音只按发音部位形成阻碍,但不发生爆破,稍停即发出后一个爆破音,这种现象称为不完全爆破。例如:

n. 消息;新闻
News n. 消息;新闻,是不可数名词,在句中作主语时,谓语动词要用单数形式。常用短语:a piece of news 一则新闻,school news 学校新闻
e.g. 我每天中午都看学校新闻,但是今天读到了一则奇怪的新闻。
I read the school news every day. But today, I read a piece of strange news.
