两个辅音之间无论有多少个元音字母,都属于一个音节 bed /bed/ 床,seat /si t/ 座位
两元音字母之间只有一个辅音字母,则辅音字母归后一个音节 away → a || way / 'we / 离开
两元音字母之间有两个辅音字母,一个归前一个音节,一个归后面的音节 summer → sum || mer / s m (r)/ 夏天
口诀:
先找元音去尾e,一个元音一音节;多个元音在一起,同样算是一音节;看见辅音要分割,一归后,两分手,辅音组合一起走(ph-; th-; dge-)

Word stress(单词重音)
英语单词有单音节词、双音节词和多音节词之分。含有一个响亮音素的声音片段叫作一个音节。英语中的元音都是响亮的因素。由一个音节构成的词叫作单音节词,如hi、mum、dad、first、meet。由 两个或两个以上音节构成的词称为双音节词或多音节词。对于双音节词或多音节词,有的音节须读的重些,叫作重读音节;有的音节要读得轻些,叫作非重读音节。重读音节用重音符号“ ”标出。(教材P93)

单音节词都是重读音节;
双音节词的重音一般落在第一个音节上,如jacket / d k t/、question /'kwest ( )n/、sweater / swet (r)/。
少数双音节词的重音在第二个音节上,如excuse / k skju z/、July /d la /、about / 'ba t/。
三音节词的重音一般也在第一个音节上,如favourite / fe v( )r t/、vegetable / ved t b( )l/、interesting /' ntr st /。

(5) 少数三音节词的重音在第二个音节上,如computer /k m pju t (r)/、tomato /t mɑ t /、December /d semb (r)/。
(6) 有的双音节词和多音节词有两个重音,一个是主重音,另一个是次重音,次重音用“ ”表示,标在次重音的左下方。如thirteen / θ (r) ti n/、fifteen / f f ti n/、afternoon / ɑ ft (r) nu n/。
