这个句型可以分为what is..like 和What does..look like 这两个句型都是用来询问"是什么样子”其中的like 是介词,表示“像”。不过它们也可以有以下区别:
What is..like 既可以询问人也可以询问事物。对人询问的是人的性格,能力或给人的印象等;对事物询问的是性质,特征,特定情况等,有时甚至需要做详细的描述。
What is...like 也可以询问外表。

notice在此作为可数名词,表示“通知,告示”,不可数的时候表示“注意”。做动词的时候表示“注意到,意识到”。
