询问"….是什么样子
这个句型可以分为what is..like 和What does..look like 这两个句型都是用来询问"是什么样子”其中的like 是介词，表示“像”。不过它们也可以有以下区别:
What is..like 既可以询问人也可以询问事物。对人询问的是人的性格，能力或给人的印象等;对事物询问的是性质，特征，特定情况等，有时甚至需要做详细的描述。
What is...like 也可以询问外表。

put up 在此作为及物动词词组，表示“张贴”，它还有“搭建”的意思，如put up a tent表示搭建帐篷。词组辨析有“put on”“put off”。

The school put off the sports meeting.学校推迟了运动会。
notice在此作为可数名词，表示“通知，告示”，不可数的时候表示“注意”。做动词的时候表示“注意到，意识到”。
Take no notice of what he says.别理会他说的话。

other意为：“其他的”；后要接名词复数形式；
any other +可数名词单数：其他的任何一个……
