Joining clubs at school lets us try fun activities that aren't in our usual classes.
We make friends with kids who like the same things, making school more fun.
Clubs teach us how to work together, lead, and talk to others.
When we go to college or look for jobs, being in clubs shows we are good at many things.
Clubs also help us try new things, feel surer of
ourselves, and become better people.

What can you get from a club
To pick a school club, think about what you love doing or what you want to try.
Ask older kids or teachers which clubs are the best and busiest.
Go see some club meetings to find out if you like them and if they're right for you.
Choose a club that you have enough time for and that fits how much you like to do.
And remember, it's okay to try new things because you might find something really cool when you're brave and try something different.
Our interests make us interesting.
Ask students what the sentence means.
By exploring and developing our interests, especially by joining clubs with like-minded people with the same interests, we will become more interesting people and have more interesting lives.
