I crouched down 蹲下 low, my eyes level with the ground与地面齐平, and observed them closely. Each ant carried a burden, some food scraps, others carrying leaves much larger than themselves. It was like watching a well-organized army, each ant knowing exactly what to do. I wondered, where were they going What were they doing

Write your story
My curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to do a little experiment. I placed a small leaf in front of their path, blocking 阻碍 their way. To my surprise, instead of giving up, the ants worked together. Some went around the leaf, while others lifted it, making a new path. It was amazing to see how they communicated without words, using touch and smell.

But I wasn’t done yet. I wanted to know more. I remembered reading somewhere that ants leave a scent trail 气味的痕迹 for others to follow. To test this, I gently washed a part of their path with water. The confused ants stopped, looked around, and then started moving in different directions, as if they were lost. This made me realize the importance of their scent trails.
