资源简介 Unit 5 Here and NowSection A What are you doing right now (1a-1d)The analysis of content:本单元的标题是“Here and Now”(此时此地)。本单元的主题图呈现了两个城市在白天和黑夜的风景以及人文活动。大图中的东方明珠电视塔和黄浦江说明该图拍摄于上海,人们在江上举行划船比赛,很多市民在江岸边观看,热闹异常。右下角的小图有TORONTO的字样,表示这个城市是位于加拿大的多伦多,高楼里灯火通明,而水边的休闲场所也聚集了不少人,他们在享受城市的夜生活。这样设计就是为了体现在同一时间内,上海是白天,而多伦多是晚上,处于不同时区的人们生活状态是不同的。这种对比呈现有助于拓展学生的全球视野,并发展他们的想象力。Look and share部分针对主题图设置了三个问题,目的是引导学生观察和讨论图中两个城市的人们正在进行的活动,从而自然导入单元主题,为后续的学习活动作铺垫。开篇页呈现了本单元的大问题“What brings people together ”,旨在启发学生思考本单元的主题内涵。此外,开篇页也列举了本单元的主要学习任务,包括使用现在进行时谈论正在发生的事情、学习电话用语、了解不同时区的人们的生活方式等。Section A的听力文本是三段电话对话,是连续的对话情境。三段对话的发起人都是Peter,他想邀请同学和他一起去体育公园打排球,并询问对方正在干什么,自然呈现了现在进行时态的语法结构。为了体现对话的真实性和目标语法结构的丰富性,针对Peter的邀请,教材设计了三个不同的反馈语境:太忙所以去不了,不在家而未能联系上,因为电影枯燥而答应邀请。三段对话的语境不同,因而使用了不同的语言结构。第一个对话中,Teng Fei因为比较忙而拒绝了Peter的邀请,所以他使用比较委婉客气的表达“I'd love to, but I'm working on something important.”。而Peter则回答“Never mind then! Maybe next time ”,对话愉快地结束。第二个对话中,Adam不在家,Adam的妈妈接了电话并问Peter是否需要Adam回电话,她使用的语言是“Can I take a message ”,而Peter礼貌地提出请求“Could you ask him to call me back, please ”,对话愉快地结束。第三个对话中,Binbin正在家里看一部很无趣的电影,感到无聊,所以高兴地接受了Peter的邀请,而Peter马上与他约定了打球的时间(“Let's meet at the sports park at ten, OK ”)。除此之外,这三段对话都充分体现了电话对话的语言特征,比如:Teng Fei、Mrs Clark和Binbin在接电话时都用了“Hello ”,相当于中文对话中的“喂 ”。Peter在电话中介绍自己时使用了“It'sPeter.”,而不是“I'm Peter”。Peter想找Adam接电话时对Adam的妈妈说“May I speak to Adam.please ”,"May I speak to ..… ”是请对方转接电话时比较礼貌的表达,意思是“我可以和……说话吗 ”。Teaching objectives:通过本课的学习,学生们……1、能够通过观察单元标题和主题图,对单元主题作出合理推测,理解主题图展现的不同时区的生活画面。2、能够根据图片信息识别与人物活动相匹配的短语。3、能够通过听取关键词理解听力对话中不同人物正在进行的活动。4、能够从听力对话中找出常见的电话用语,并说出其适用的情境。5、能够基于听力对话内容,模仿运用现在进行时和电话用语进行口头表达。6、能够在电话对话中根据不同交际对象使用不同的礼貌用语,使对话愉快地进行。Teaching procedures:Step 1 Lead in1.Greeting2.The teaching of opening pageToday we are going to learn Unit 5 Here and Now.
