3. Use what you have learnt to write a letter of advice to one the teenagers below.
Work in groups. Choose one of the teenagers and discuss his/her problem. List possible suggestions and reasons.

学语言:
1.第一段中使用了You wrote that ...; I understand quite well that ...; You think that ...,由此可以看出,作者在建议信的开头,语气比较委婉礼貌,三个宾语从句的使用展现了作者的语言功底。
2.第一段中的anxious与terrible突出表现了对方的担忧心情。
3.第二段中表达建议的句式:
(1)I recommend that you talk to your friend about his behaviour.
(2)I think you should encourage your friend to try new hobbies.
(3)Why not discuss the problem together
4.第二段中运用it作形式主语(It is not unusual ...to be attracted ...);动词-ing短语作主语(spending too much time online is ...);it作形式宾语(...makes it very difficult to focus on ...),显示了作者较强的语言运用能力。
5.第二段中focus on, become addicted to, concentrate on等词汇生动地说明了花太多时间上网的危害。
