一、时间的表达方法
（一）整点表达方法
用 “整点数（基数词）＋o'clock” 或直接用 “整点数（基数词）” 表示，常与介词 at 搭配。
例如：
（1）We have an English class at eight o'clock.
我们八点有一节英语课。
（2）Classes start at seven.
七点开始上课。
（二）非整点表达方法
1、顺读法
“先时后分”，先读整点数，再读分钟数，都用基数词。
例如：
（1）It's three twenty.
现在是三点二十分。
（2）The meeting begins at nine forty-five.
会议九点四十五分开始。
2、逆读法
（1）“先分后时”，都用基数词，但要注意一些特殊分钟点的用法。
①分钟数小于 30 时，用 “分钟数 + past + 整点数” 表示；
②分钟数等于 30 时，用 “half past＋整点数” 表示；
③分钟数超过 30 时，用 “60 减去分钟数＋to＋下一个整点数” 表示；
④分钟数是 15 或 45 时，分钟数可用 quarter 表示。
例如：
①It's ten past ten.
现在是十点十分。
②Let's meet at half past five.
我们五点半见面吧。
③It's a quarter to seven.
现在是六点四十五分。
二、时间表达法与介词的搭配用法
（一）at：用于表示时刻、时间的某一点。
（1）The train will arrive at a quarter to nine.
火车将在八点四十五分到达。
（2）My little brother goes to bed at half past nine every evening.
我的弟弟每晚九点半上床睡觉。
（3）We have a break at ten o'clock in the morning.
我们上午十点有个课间休息。
（二）on：用于某天或者某一天的上、下午。
（1）They go to the library on Sunday morning.
他们周日上午去图书馆。
（2）We have a P.E. class on Thursday afternoon.
我们星期四下午有一节体育课。
（3）We clean our classroom on Friday.
我们星期五打扫教室。
（三）in：用于表示周、月、季节、年，泛指的上午、下午、晚上。
（1）We have a school trip in October every year.
我们每年 10 月有一次学校旅行。
（2）People like to fly kites in Spring.
人们喜欢在春天放风筝。
（3）I hope to visit my grandparents in the winter holiday every year.我希望每年寒假去看望我的祖父母。
三、时间表达法的易错知识点
（一）非整点时间后不能加 “o'clock”，“o'clock” 仅用于整点。
例如：
（1）①It's six ten o'clock.×
现在是六点十分。
②It's six ten.√
现在是六点十分。
（2）①We meet at nine thirty o'clock.×
我们九点三十分见面。
②We meet at nine thirty.√
我们九点三十分见面。

（二）“past” 与 “to” 的使用混淆
分钟数＜30 时不能用 “to”；分钟数＞30 时不能用 “past”。

①The film starts at forty past seven.×
②The film starts at twenty to eight.√

15 分钟用 “a quarter past”45分钟用“a quaeter to”。

①She arrives at a quarter past six.×

（四）时间与时间介词 “at/on/in” 的搭配错误
