choose 的常见搭配：

[拓展] choose 的名词形式为 choice，是可数名词，意为“选择”。

它有多种颜色可以选择。

省略关系词 that/which 的定语从句
句中的“we used for your room”是省略了关系词 that/which 的定语从句，修饰先行词brushes。当先行词是物时，可用 that/which引导定语从句，that/which 在定语从句中可作主语或宾语，作宾语时可以省略。
6. bring a pair of scissors 带一把剪刀(教材第19 页，3c)
scissors /′s z z/ [名词] 剪刀
scissors 是复数名词，因为剪刀是由不可分割的两部分构成的，故常用复数形式。scissors 不能直接与数词连用，要借助名词 pair。
