1.概念
读后续写,顾名思义,就是先读后写。在阅读并理解所给材料的基础上,充分发挥想象力,顺承原文故事情节的发展方向,构建意义连贯且逻辑性强的语篇。
读后续写把读、写两个活动结合在一起,将语言输入和语言输出整合在同一语境中,全面考查学生的英语能力及学科素养。
2.评分标准
第七档(22-25分) ●创造了新颖、丰富、合理的内容,富有逻辑性,续写完整,与原文情境融洽度高;
●使用了多样且恰当的词汇和语法结构,表达流畅,语言错误很少,且完全不影响理解;
●自然有效地使用了段落间、语句间的衔接手段,全文结构清晰,前后呼应,意义连贯
第六档(18-21分) ●创造了比较丰富、合理的内容,比较有逻辑性,续写比较完整,与原文情境融洽度较高;
●使用了比较多样且恰当的词汇和语法结构,表达比较流畅,有个别错误,但不影响理解;
●比较有效地使用了语句间的衔接手段,全文结构比较清晰,意义比较连贯

Hill was asleep. Kevin sighed (叹息) and hoped something exciting would happen. Suddenly, a movement outside caught his eye.
Mrs. Hill's front window faced Mr. and Mrs. Green's house across the street. The couple had both gone to work, so it was strange that someone was over there. Kevin stared at the man at their front door. Suddenly, the man jumped through an open window into the house. With his heart in his mouth, Kevin grabbed Mrs. Hill's home phone and called the police.
Thinking that the man might get away with whatever he wanted before the police arrived, Kevin decided to do something. He rushed out of Mrs. Hill's house and crossed the street quickly. Grabbing a branch from a cut-down tree, he jumped in through the window. “Stop right there! You must leave right now!” he called out, holding the branch with both hands.
The man froze for a second, but when he saw the skinny boy he breathed a sigh of relief. “Hey, kid, put that down.
It was my home. My parents used to live here and my father's watch was here,” he explained, trying to lift a floorboard.
At that moment, the sounds of a police car echoed (回响) in the air. The man stood up in a panic, then ran through the house toward the window and jumped out. Kevin followed out and told the arriving police officers what had happened. They pursued and arrested the man.
Kevin went back to Mrs. Hill's house. Somehow he wasn't sure he had done the right thing. “What if he has told the truth ” he thought to himself. The man's words sounded pretty convincing.

读后续写
故事类记叙文有两条线索,一是情节(plot)发展线索,二是情感(feeling)发展线索。通常情况下,随着故事情节的发展,文章中主要人物的情感也会随之产生变化。所以,对文章的整体把握包括两个方面:情节和情感发展线索。
了解叙事模式是把握情节发展的基础。情节山(Plot Mountain)是整理文章脉络的最佳方式。
一、了解叙事模式
一般情况下,在读后续写提供的语篇中,已经出现了三部分:Exposition、Rising Action、Climax。其中Climax中出现最大的、最迫切需要解决的问题。需要续写的两段分别对应Falling Action(问题的解决过程)和Resolution(解决的结果)。
二、情节山
一般情况下,可以通过绘制情节山,整理文章脉络,梳理文章的情节发展线索和情感发展线索,为下一步的续写做好铺垫。
阅读下面的材料,完成以下任务。
[1]A holiday in Penang is an annual affair for my family. My parents grew up in Penang and are very fond of Penang food. In December every year, we would drive up to the island to spend three days visiting their favorite food haunts (常去的地方).
[2]This year, we started our journey up north on a Friday morning. It took us six hours to reach our destination. We always stayed at one of the hotels in Batu Ferringhi. The beach was just a short walk from the hotel entrance and our rooms had a lovely view of the sea. We spent our first evening playing on the beach. After dinner, we returned to our rooms to play games. My parents had a rule for our holidays which was that we were to spend time doing things together. There was to be no TV and no Internet.
[3]The next morning, we went to Bukit Bendera and then spent the rest of the afternoon in town visiting our favorite hawker stalls (小贩摊位). As we were having coffee at a shop, we overheard people talking about an earthquake near Sumatera, an island in Indonesia.
[4] Then, we took a walk along the beach, picking up seashells along the way. Looking up, I saw the sun shining brighter than I ever knew before. I saw a tree trembling in the distance as it reflected the sun's rays. It never occurred to us that something awful would take place. Suddenly, I noticed a strange thing. The sea seemed to be leaving from the shore. I called my father to look at the curious occurrence. My father took one look and went pale. We saw a grey line in the distance moving towards the shore. It seemed to grow taller by the second.

读懂人物的情感对读后续写至关重要。情节发展和情感发展一起构成故事相互交织的明线和暗线。伴随着情节的发展,情感也随之产生变化。因此,在利用PM(情节山)分析情节的同时,可以标注出情感的变化,以便在续写中延续人物的情感状态,为续写奠定良好的基础。
在分析情感发展线索的时候,把握以下几个关键点:1.忠于原文的情感线索;2.忠于人物的性格特点;3.挖掘人物行为的动机;4.保持原文作者的视角和态度。

[1]Alex sat quietly at the back of his Chinese class, his eyes fixed on the textbook before him. As a shy and unnoticed student, he felt like a lone wolf, struggling against the complexities of high school life.

③心理描写 心理描写指的是描写人物在具体情况下的看法、感受、情感及心理活动,并由此反映人物的性格特点及思想品质。心理描写除了对心理的直接描写,还可以结合动作描写及场景描写,共同构建有意义、紧凑的语篇
