As the saying goes, “It takes a village to raise a child. ” Similarly, it takes a community to build a peaceful neighborhood. Here are some ways on how to build a friendly neighborhood.
Pay attention to your behavior. It’s important to notice our actions and how they may affect(影响) our neighbors. For example, loud noise will trouble our neighbors’ sleep. So we should avoid making loud noise late at night or early in the morning. We should also pay attention to our pets and make sure they will not cause(引起)any problems to our neighbors.
Treat your neighbors with kindness and politeness. This includes speaking to them in a friendly and respectful way. Besides, we should be willing to lend a hand when they need help. For example, we can help them carry things or clear snow from their driveways. It’s necessary to be thoughtful for our neighbors and show them the same level of respect that we would like to receive.
Work together to create a friendly community. This means joining in community activities, and being ready to give our time to change our neighborhood. We should also be willing to communicate openly and honestly with our neighbors, and to work together to solve problems or challenges that may come up.
