语法点
除了一般现在时(Unit 1)外,本单元语法涉及到可数名词和不可数名词。
一)可数名词(Countable Nouns)
1. 定义
可以单独计数(有单复数形式)的名词。
例:a book(一本书),three apples(三个苹果),many students(许多学生)。
2. 单复数规则
规则变化:

一般直接加 -s book, desk books, desks
以 -s, -x, -sh, -ch 结尾加 -es box, bus, dish, watch boxes, buses, dishes, watches
辅音字母 + y 结尾,变 y 为 i 加 -es city, baby cities, babies
以 -f/-fe 结尾,变 -f/-fe 为 -ves leaf, knife leaves, knives
以 -o 结尾,多数加 -es tomato, potato tomatoes, potatoes
不规则变化(需单独记忆):
例:child → children, foot → feet, tooth → teeth, mouse → mice, man → men, woman → women.
3. 用法注意
单数可数名词不能单独使用,需加冠词(a/an/the)或限定词(my, this等)。
(×)I have book. → (√)I have a book.
复数名词前可直接用数词或表示数量的词(some, many, a few等)。
例:She has two cats. / There are many trees.
二)不可数名词(Uncountable Nouns)
1. 定义
不能单独计数(没有复数形式)的名词,通常表示物质、抽象概念或整体类别。
例:water(水),rice(米饭),music(音乐),homework(作业)。
2. 常见不可数名词分类
物质类:water, milk, bread, meat, air, paper(纸)
抽象类:love, happiness, time, information, advice
学科/语言类:math, English, history
其他:money, news, furniture, weather
3. 用法规则
不可数名词没有复数形式,不能直接加 -s/-es。
(×)I need some advices. → (√)I need some advice.
不能直接与数词(one, two...)或不定冠词(a/an)连用,需借助量词短语:
例:a glass of water, two pieces of paper, some rice.
谓语动词用单数:

三)可数名词 vs. 不可数名词对比

例:I need time to finish my work.(时间) / I’ve been there three times.(次数)
不可数名词的“量”如何表达?
用 量词 + of:
a bottle of water, a piece of advice, two slices of bread.
person(人) → people(人们,复数)
口语中也可用 persons(正式场合,如法律文件)。
例:Many people like ice cream.
fish vs. fishes
同种类鱼:fish(单复同形)。
不同种类鱼:fishes。
例:He caught five fish. / Coral reefs have colorful fishes.
hair(通常不可数) vs. hairs(可数,指几根头发)
Her hair is long.(全部头发)

本单元还有两个重要句型:I would like句型和what would you like for句型:
一)"I would like..." 句型
1. 基本结构与用法
功能:礼貌地表达“我想要...”(比 "I want" 更委婉)。
结构:
I would like + 名词 / 动词不定式 (to do)
(口语中常缩写为 I'd like)
2. 具体用法
情景 例句 中文翻译
+ 名词 I'd like a hamburger. 我想要一个汉堡。
+ 饮料/食物 I'd like some orange juice. 我想要些橙汁。
+ to do I'd like to order now. 我想现在点餐。

3. 否定与疑问形式
否定句:在 would 后加 not(缩写为 wouldn't)。
例:I would not like coffee. (我不想要咖啡。)
一般疑问句:将 would 提前。

二)"What would you like (for)..." 句型
1. 基本结构与用法
功能:礼貌询问对方“你想要...?”(用于点餐、购物、提供帮助等场景)。
两种常见形式:
What would you like + (名词)
例:What would you like to drink (你想喝什么?)
What would you like for + 餐名/场合
例:What would you like for breakfast (你早餐想吃什么?)
