Do teenagers in small villages do chores at home How about the teenagers in big cities Here is a survey. We asked 4,000 teenagers in China several questions. Half of them come from big cities like Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. The others are from small villages. We made a diagram(图表) of the result of our survey. Let's have a look at it.
We found out that teenagers from small villages do more chores than those from big cities. Maybe it is because they live a harder life. Our advice to parents in big cities is that parents should give their children some chores to do. Doing chores teaches teenagers to take care of themselves.

Cheetahs (猎豹) and other wild cats are in danger of dying out because they have few places to live in and people hunt them. Can we help big cats (大型猫科动物) in danger Wildlife scientists hope so. They are trying to protect the cats by teaching people about the situation and making laws to keep the animals safer.
Cheetahs are the world’s fastest land animals. Most cheetahs live in Africa. In the past 100 years, the number of cheetahs living in the wild has dropped from 100,000 to fewer than 12,000.
Good news is here for cheetahs at the Saint Louis Zoo. Three cheetah babies that were born in November are growing up at the Saint Louis Zoo in Missouri. “The babies are doing great,” the zoo’s worker Steve Bircher said. “They are very active and playing with each other or with Mom.”
By raising cheetah babies, the zoo is working to save cheetahs from dying out. The zoo is also helping protect cheetahs in the wild. “We want children to know that cheetahs are in danger,” said Bircher. “It is important to protect their living places.”
( ) 24. Why are cheetahs and other wild cats in danger of dying out
A. Because people hunt them.
B. Because they are easy to get ill.
C. Because they have nothing to eat.
( ) 25. Which is TRUE about cheetahs
A. They are the world's fastest animals.
B. Most of the cheetahs live in Africa.

A. By raising cheetah babies.
B. By making laws to keep them safe.
C. By sending cheetah babies into the wild.
( ) 27. What can we learn from what Bircher said
A. Kids can help cheetahs by playing with them.
B. Cheetahs need safe homes to live in.
C. Zoos should keep all cheetahs inside.

In each developing country, there are at least 100 teaching hospitals with television rooms and classrooms. Doctors are taught the latest technology of helping the deaf with their hearing loss. Up to now, the organization has traveled around the earth 3 times, visited 76 countries. Meanwhile, it has taught over 35,000 doctors and nurses and helped over 20, 000 deaf people.

If you have some medical experience, it will be useful for you to take the classes held by the teaching hospital newly built in our community. If not, there will be another class called Communication Skills for you. Here you can learn how to show your kindness and care to the deaf in a correct way.
