【设计意图】 复习B Listen and chant部分内容,激活孩子们植物生长所需的相关知识和人类可以为植物做什么的相关知识。chants是孩子们喜欢的旋律和节奏,能激发他们学习的兴趣。Chant的内容与本可文本相关,为孩子们阅读做好准备。

【设计意图】 本环节根据语篇结构将文章切分为三个部分:第一部分以Meet a new friend 为题,认识语篇主人公an apples tree, 第二部分以How do family help the apple tree 设问,去了解家人和苹果树之间的点滴,第三部分以How to be good friends为题,理解文章的总结性文本。以问题为导向,以任务为驱动,孩子们一步步理解语篇内容。

【设计意图】 基于上一环节的讨论结果和本环节的提示,提出两个问题:What do we need 指向制作需要的工具。What do we have in the garden 指向制作的内容。孩子们在讨论的过程中明确制作的方法和内容,达成制作的共识,培养他们敢于在团队中表达自己,敢于质疑,以及合作的精神。
