在西方国家，一般不对陌生人询问年龄，会被认为是不礼貌的行为。因为年龄属于个人隐私，不能随便询问。但如果是熟人之间，则可以相互询问年龄。
而在我们国家，相互询问年龄是很普通的问题。我们可以通过对方的年龄，从而决定我们对别人的称呼,如：哥哥，姐姐，叔叔，婆婆，阿姨，爷爷等，以表达我们的敬意！

新 课 呈 现 Sarah introduces her brother for us. Xinxin asks Sam’s age: how old are you I am…..years old. Practice the sentence pattern: how old are you I am……years old. Pair-work: 1.
