形容词和副词的最高级
一、用法
表示 三者或三者以上（人或事物）的比较，强调“最……”。
二、规则变化
变化规则 示例（原级→最高级）
单音节/部分双音节，直接加-est long→longest（最长的）
以 不发音的e 结尾，加 -st nice→nicest（最美好的）; late→latest（最晚的）
以 辅音字母+y 结尾，变y为i，加-est easy→easiest（最容易的）; happy→happiest（最开心的）
以 单个辅音字母 结尾的 重读闭音节，双写尾辅音，加-est big→biggest（最大的）; hot→hottest（最热的）; thin→thinnest（最瘦的）
多音节/部分双音节，肯定最高级加most，否定最高级加least most expensive（最贵的）; least expensive（最便宜的）
三、不规则变化（巧记口诀）
坏和病，多和好；一个远来一个老，little是少不是小。
bad, badly, ill → worst（最坏的/最糟的）
many, much → most（最多的）
good, well → best（最好的）
far → farthest/furthest（最远的）
old → oldest/eldest（最老的/最年长的）
little → least（最少的）
四、常用句型
the + 最高级 + in/of 短语（在……中最……）
Jim is the tallest boy in his class. 吉姆是他班上个子最高的男孩。
Which/Who + 谓语 + 最高级, A, B or C （A、B、C中，谁最……？）
Who runs fastest, Bob, Mike or Nick 谁跑得最快，鲍勃、迈克还是尼克？
one of + the + 最高级 + 名词复数（最……的……之一）
China is one of the oldest countries in the world. 中国是世界上最古老的国家之一。
the + 序数词 + 最高级 + 名词单数（第……最……的……）
The Yellow River is the second longest river in China. 黄河是中国的第二长河。
the + 最高级 + 名词 + (that) 从句（最……的……，定语从句）
It’s the funniest movie (that) I have ever seen. 它是我看过的最滑稽的电影。
五、比较级表最高级含义（同义转换）
比较级 + than any other + 名词单数
He is taller than any other boy in his class. 他比班里其他任何男孩都高。（= 他是班里最高的男孩。）
比较级 + than the other + 名词复数
He is taller than the other boys in his class. 他比班里其他男孩都高。（同义句，同上）
六、注意事项
形容词最高级 前 必须加 the（如：the tallest）；
副词最高级 前 可省略 the（如：run fastest）。
