Step 1 Lead-in
Let’s sing
播放本单元歌曲“Giving old things new life”导入本节课的主题“旧物品”。提问“What’s the song about ”,学生说出这首歌是关于什么的。呈现图片,引出主题词 old things。展示生活中各种各样的旧物品,运用句子“Do you have old things ”进行对话,复习旧知的同时,让学生感受生活中有各种各样的旧物品,体会旧物品的重要性。
T: What’s the song about
Ss: Old things.
T: Do you have old things
S1: Yes, I do. I have some old school things.
T: Do you have old things
S2: Yes, I do. I have some old toys.
T: Great! Old things are everywhere. Today we’ll learn words about the old toys.
Step 2 Presentation
Let’s learn
(1)展示教材图片,教师提出问题,引导学生回答。
T: What are these
Ss: They’re toys.
(2)教师询问箱子里面都有什么玩具,引出单词doll。
T: What toys are in the box
Ss: There is a doll.
(3)播放单词音频,学生跟读,教师纠正读音。注意讲解doll的正确发音,分解读音,鼓励学生自己拼读。教师板书doll,学生书写。引导学生用英语描述自己拥有一个玩偶“I have a doll.”。
(4)展示更多表示doll的图片,巩固单词doll。鼓励学生用完整的句子说出自己拥有一个或几个玩偶的句子,在描述的过程中注意纠正学生对单复数的错误使用。

S1: Yes. I have two dolls.
T: Good job. And you
S2: I have a doll.
(5)使用同样的方法讲解剩余单词 ball 和 car,注意纠正发音。
Step 3 Practice
1.Game time
出示汉语,请学生快速说出对应的英文,并拼读出单词。
2.Listen and repeat
播放教材音频,学生听音指读,巩固单词的音、义、形。
3.Pair work
出示教材图片,请学生根据图片将句子补充完整。师生示范对话,然后同桌两人练习表达,说出图片中有什么旧玩具。

Ss: Yes, I do. I have a doll.
4.Listen and chant
(1)播放教材视频,学生小声跟唱,整体感知歌谣。
(2)再次播放教材视频,学生大声跟唱歌谣,理解歌谣含义。
(3)播放教材音频,学生圈出歌谣中的玩具词,为接下来的创编歌谣做铺垫。
Step 4 Consolidation
Group work
教师提供歌谣框架,学生以小组为单位创编歌谣,四人一组,注意节奏。教师巡视时可根据小组人员的实际情况适当拓展其他颜色单词。最后学生班内展示歌谣。

Step 5 Summary
