一、教学内容分析
本课时内容是对思维技能和阅读策略的学习，包括“辨识主旨大意和细节信息”的思维技能和可视化阅读策略。通过本节课的学习，学生能够提取和归纳语篇中的主旨大意和细节信息，建构主旨与细节图表，最后尝试用主旨与细节图的思维技能，谈论日常生活中水的其他用途。同时，学生能够通过可视化阅读策略，进行观察和想象，将文字具象化，以更好地理解水如何在自然界中循环，并以此为支架谈论水循环的过程。
二、学情分析
通过前面的学习，学生已经积累了一些与水的用途以及水的循环相关的语言素材，具备了一定的语言基础。但在分析文本结构、提取主旨和细节方面，以及运用可视化阅读策略辅助理解上，还需要系统的学习和训练。
三、教学目标
通过本课时的学习，学生能够： 1. 运用辨识主旨大意和细节信息的思维技能，绘制主旨与细节图； 2. 运用可视化阅读策略，通过观察和想象，更好地理解水循环的过程； 3. 基于水循环的知识，梳理I read、I see in my mind、Now, I understand三个步骤，认识到水资源的有限性，培养珍惜水资源的意识。
四、教学重难点
【重点】 1. 运用辨识主旨大意和细节信息的思维技能，绘制主旨与细节图； 2. 运用可视化阅读策略，通过观察和想象，更好地理解水循环的过程。 【难点】 准确区分文本中的主旨和细节； 熟练运用可视化阅读策略，提升阅读理解能力； 运用所学知识谈论水的用途以及水的循环过程。
五、教学活动设计
环节一：激活已知，导入话题。（3 mins） 学生看图填空并讨论水的用途。

环节二：学习及运用“辨识主旨大意和细节信息”这一思维技能。（12 mins） 学生完成问答、填表等一系列活动，了解“辨识主旨大意和细节信息”这一思维技能，绘制主旨与细节图，然后在新的语境中巩固所学技能，并迁移运用所学。

环节设计意图：引导学生运用辨识主旨大意与细节信息的思维技能，梳理水资源的用途和重要性，绘制主旨与细节图，并围绕主题进一步探讨，完善图表，学以致用。
环节三：阅读语篇，学习及运用可视化阅读策略。（15 mins） 学生了解可视化阅读策略，然后阅读语篇，运用可视化策略，构建相应的视觉形象，自行梳理出阅读语篇的步骤，并讨论水循环的过程。

环节四：内化所学，拓展提升。（15 mins） 学生小组讨论水循环，并绘制“水循环故事板”，讲述水循环的故事，然后通过角色扮演，展示水的用途和水的循环过程。
