This amazing seven-part documentary takes us on a journey across China, looking for delicious dishes from over 60 different places. We see how families cook together during holidays like the Spring Festival, and how food reminds people of their hometown memories. To record these real-life moments, the filmmakers worked very hard—spending three months researching and nine months traveling all over China to film.
As Liu Wen, one of the team members, explains, the program also shows changes in how people live today. “It’s like a window to China,” he says. “It helps the world understand our country better. A recent CCTV News report showed how smart health-care systems (系统) in Jiangxi Province are making it easier and better for patients (病人) to see a doctor. These systems use AI technology to help doctors work faster and make fewer mistakes.
In Ganzhou, patients no longer need to wait for a long time or fill in lots of information. They can scan (扫描) their faces, and the system quickly shows their medical histories like past illnesses and treatments. In Fuzhou, since 2023, over 132, 000 patients have used AI tools. These tools can advise possible illnesses, tests, and even advise medicines. Nanchang People’s Hospital has started using an AI system called the DeepSeek All-in-One Machine. This machine can write medical records in just one minute.
Even in small areas in Jingdezhen, AI is making a big difference. The doctors now have AI tools that help them diagnose (诊断) common illnesses such as the flu or hyperglycemia (高血糖). The system gives real-time advice on how to make patients feel better. This means people in the countryside can get good medical help without going to hospitals in big cities. For patients, they can spend less time waiting. Because recording, getting tests, and getting medicine all happen faster. For doctors, AI can do boring tasks like writing records. This allows doctors to focus on talking to patients and solving difficult medical problems.

C.AI is improving medical services in small areas of Jingdezhen.

How Birds Travel Long Distances
Every autumn, billions of birds fly thousands of miles to warmer places. 45 They don’t use maps or phones, but nature gives them special tools.
46 First, they use the sun during the day. Second, they follow stars at night. Third, some fly along rivers or mountains that look like roads. 47 Scientists found that birds can sense Earth’s magnetism (磁力), like having a compass in their body. This helps them cross oceans without getting lost. 48 For example, baby geese memorize routes by flying with their parents. They also remember landmarks like lakes and forests.
49 Strong winds might push them off course (偏离航线). Hungry hawks (鹰) may attack them. But birds have practiced these journeys for millions of years—their skills are amazing!
Next time you see birds flying in a V-shape, think: they’re using sun, stars, and invisible forces to guide their adventure!
