A letter of recommendation
推荐信主要是向组织或机构推荐某人，或向朋友推荐某物，希望对方能接受推荐。
推荐信的内容要肯定、乐观，并对被推荐人、事、物给予正面评价。同时，语言要简洁明确、理由充足，具有合理性和说服力。
文体简介
向别人介绍或推荐某人、某事、某物的信件。
题型特点
审题分析
时态：一般使用一般现在时和一般将来时。
人称：通常以第三人称为主，兼用第一、二人称。
第一段：说明写信目的及要推荐的对象
第二段：介绍被推荐人/物的条件具体情况
第三段：期待对方接受推荐，并进行总结说明和感谢
段落结构
假定你是李华，你的美国朋友Jack想学习汉语，你推荐他去孔子学院，请给他写封邮件，内容包括：
1.推荐理由；
2.相关课程，如中国历史，传统文化等。
参考词汇：孔子学院Confucius Institute
注意：1. 词数80左右。
2. 可以适当增加细节，以使行文连贯。

I recommend it mainly for the following reasons. To begin with, Confucius Institute provides a wide range of interesting subjects, through which you will learn Chinese history and traditional culture as well as Chinese writing. Besides, you have more chances to talk with classmates in Chinese and better understand Chinese life from different perspectives.
