语法点
本单元的重点语法点主要集中在数量的比较和一些句型结构上。
一)数量的比较
两者之间数量的比较
more...than...:表示“……比……多”,more后可接可数名词复数或不可数名词。
例如:I have more storybooks than David.(
我的故事书比戴维的多。)
fewer/less...than...:表示“……比……少”,fewer后接可数名词复数,less后接不可数名词。
例如:Daniel studies fewer subjects than me.
(丹尼尔学的科目比我少。)
as...as...:表示“和……一样……”,中间用形容词或副词原级。
例如:This park is as large as that one.
(这个公园和那个公园一样大。)
not as/so...as...:表示“不及……,不如……”,也可以用比较级结构来转换。
例如:I'm not as/so tall as him.(我没有他高。)= I'm shorter than him.(我比他矮。)
三者或三者以上数量的比较
the most:表示“最多”,后面既可跟可数名词复数,也可跟不可数名词。
例如:Bob got the most points in our class.(鲍勃在我们班得分最多。)
the fewest/the least:表示“最少”,前者用来修饰可数名词复数,后者用来修饰不可数名词。
例如:She can sing the fewest songs in our class.(她在我们班会唱的歌最少。)
二)句型结构
have...off:表示“有多长时间的假期”,常用于描述休假、放假等情况。
例如:We have two days off for the National Day holiday.(国庆节我们放假两天。)
need的用法:
作实义动词:意为“需要”,有人称、时态及数的变化。
例如:I need to finish my homework before dinner.(晚饭前我需要完成作业。)
作情态动词:意为“需要,必须”,没有人称、数和时态的变化,后接动词原形,多用于否定句和疑问句中。例如:You needn't worry about it.(你不必担心。)
borrow, lend与keep的区别:
borrow:表示“借来,借入”,常用于从别人或别处借东西。例如:Can I borrow your book (我能借你的书吗?)
lend:表示“借出”,常用于把东西借给别人。例如:Lend me your pen, please.(请把你的钢笔借给我。)
keep:表示“借多久”,常用于描述借用的时间长度。例如:You can keep this book for a week.(这本书你可以借一周。)
