although (while) 引导的让步状语从句不倒装，
且常位于主句前
e.g. Although life in a poor country can be difficult, it can broaden a person’s view of the world.
though 引导的让步状语从句可倒可不倒，且可放主句前后
e.g. Naughty though Tom is, he is never late with his homework.
让步状语从句
1. although/ though/ while/ as：
as 引导让步状语从句必须倒装
（即把表语提前，表语是名词时，名词前省略冠词；
当无表语时，状语提前）
e.g. Lawyer as he is, he explains the reason clearly.
e.g. Hot as the night air was, we slept deeply because we were so tired after the long journey.
e.g. Much as I have read, I have never read any article as good as this one.

2. even if/ even though
even if = even though 意思比although 更强烈
e.g. We will make a trip, even if/even though the weather is bad.
e.g. Roy is determined to get a seat for the concert, even if it means standing in a queue all night.

结果状语从句
注意：
1. 当不可数名词前有much或little修饰时，只用so;
2. 或可数名词前有many或few 修饰时，只用so;
3. so/such + adj./ adv. 位于句首时，主句倒装。
e.g. He had so much work to do that he had to work late into night.
e.g. So badly was he injured that he had to be sent to the hospital.

引导目的状语从句的连接词有：
that, so, so that, in order that, lest, in case, for fear (that)
so that 常位于主句之后，且从句谓语中含有情态动词
lest, in case, for fear (that) “以防”，常用虚拟语气
e.g. Just tell me what subject you’d like to talk on so that I could get some notes ready.
e.g. John may phone again tonight. I don’t want to go out in case he phones.
方式状语从句
引导目的状语从句的连接词有：
as, just as, as if, as though, the way, in the same way, in the way …
as “依照”; just as “正如”; as if/ though “好像”且可用虚拟语气（与事实相反）和陈述语气（实现可能较大）
e.g. I did it just as you told me.
e.g. He acted as if he were a super star.
e.g. It looks as if it’s going to rain.
