1. How often do you have piano lessons
你多久上一次钢琴课呢？
How often + 助动词 do (does 或 did) + 主语 + do sth.
是对频率（多久一次）进行提问。
疑问词 how often (在这里助动词 do, does 或 did 是起疑问的作用) 与一般现在时或一般过去时连用，回答一般用表频率的副词 always, usually, often, sometimes, never 等或者是“次数+ 一段时间”，如 once/twice a month, three times a month, every year, every week 等。

2. hardly ever
(1) hardly 作副词，相当于almost no、almost not,意为 “几乎不；几乎没有”，其本身表示否定含义，不能再与否定词连用。
I hardly know you.
It was so foggy that the driver could hardly make out the way ahead.
（2）hardly ever表示频率，其表达的含义与seldom或almost never相近，意为“几乎从不”。
She hardly ever(=seldom) calls me.
She lives in Spain, we hardly ever(=almost never)see her.

hardly 副词 “几乎不”，表示否定含义
hard 副词 努力地，猛烈地
形容词 困难的；坚硬的
3. once/twice a week
once a week是表示频率的短语，意为“一周一次”，常用来回答how often的提问。其中once作副词，意为“一次”。
—How often do you go hiking
—Once a week.
twice作副词，在此处意为“两次”。twice a month/year意为“一月/年两次”，表示频率。
I play chess at least twice a week.
Please think twice before you hand in your paper.
次数表达法
表示次数应注意，time后面加-s；
一次、两次很特殊，once、twice要牢记。
once, twice, three times等次数的表达法。
1) 这三个词都表示次数，once是一次，twice是两次，除了一次，两次，其他的次数表达都是数字 + times

4. 频度副词 (Adverbs of Frequency)
频度副词表示事情发生的频率， 可用来回答how often引导的问句。 常用的频度副词有always，almost always， usually，often， sometimes，hardly ever（seldom），never等，它们在频度上的差异可以这样表示：
always(100%)>almost always>usually>often>sometimes>hardly ever(seldom)>never(0%)
频度副词通常放在动词前面，若句子里有情态动词、助动词或系动词be,则放在这类动词（第一个）的后面。例如：
It's always interesting to watch other people show their talents.
Why do people usually make resolutions
When we watch movies about the future, we sometimes see robots.
They hardly ever watch TV.
Fewer people will do such jobs in the future because they are boring, but robots will never get bored.
对频率提问，how often do you … 的回答还可以是：
一周一次 once a week
一月两次 twice a month
一月三次three times a month
每天 every day
用次数+时间段回答，
“once/twice/three times… a day/week/month/year…”
